‘No red wine stains anywhere! Here’s to trying more new fashion risks this year!’
In May she revealed that she had dropped a few pounds by working out more.
Kaling said at the time she stopped worrying about how she looked and focused on how she felt.
And on Sunday the siren proved that she is at her lightest weight ever as she looked stunning in the dress that she paired with a white blazer and black stockings.
She posed in her walk in closet.

The dress revealed sculpted legs.

The Office cast member remarked that she had grown past her old ideas and had started to focus on how she could maintain a level of well-being through fitness.
Kaling stated: ‘I’ve tried really hard to let go of this idea of losing weight for vanity reasons and really trying to think of how I can be healthy.’
The actress then gave her definition of what the term healthy had come to mean to her.
She expressed: ‘Healthy is working out, moving my body a lot, keeping hydrated, and then not having negative connotations around working out and making me feel like if I don’t do this, then I won’t be something else.’

Kaling went on to remark that she was fond of trying out new routines in an attempt to keep herself surprised with each movement.
‘I don’t have to be like the expert at the thing to really enjoy it and to get a great workout. Surprising the body with lots of different things I think is really good, particularly for my body,’ she said.
The performer then expressed that she had come to terms with not meeting her anticipations for routines on occasion.
‘I’ve really been mixing it up and knowing that if a workout doesn’t necessarily make me soak my clothes with sweat, that it still was a good workout,’ she said.
Kaling made a point of noting how much regular exercise had changed her life for the better.
She changed her mindset: Kaling told People that when she stopped worrying about her appearance and starting thinking about her health, she lost the weight. Seen left in April 2022 and right in 2019

‘I have some of my best creative ideas when I’m working out. It’s made me feel so confident. It’s made me feel so great and own the fact that I love working out,’ she expressed.
The performer noted that she had previously been worried about admitting that she worked out.
‘I never felt that kind of confidence to be like, “Yeah, actually, I do work out four to five times a week. Can you believe it?” I always felt like I had to be sheepish about it,’ she said.
The actress then remarked that ‘it’s normal to love movement and think about self care.’

Kaling concluded by speaking about how she wanted to educate her daughter Katherine and son Spencer, aged four and one, about physical well-being through her own fitness routines.
‘What’s really nice — and I feel so lucky — is I think I have this opportunity to set an example [for my kids] that it is normal to work out,’ she said.
She specifically expressed that she wanted her daughter to follow in her footsteps with regard to fitness.
‘I really love that I can be that example for her and model that for her…I can’t wait until she’s old enough that she can be like my workout buddy, and just really like normalize fitness in our house,’ she said.
