The cast and crew of Seth MacFarlane’s acclaimed adult animated sitcom Family Guy are celebrating the show’s 400th episode with a bash on the Fox Studio Lot in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 13.

Mila Kunis, who came aboard to start voicing the role of Meg Griffin for season two, was among the stars on hand to party it up with her colleagues.

The show, which MacFarlane conceived back in 1995 while studying animation at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), is now in its 21st season as of September 25.

Milestone: Mila Kunis, 39, joined the cast and crew of Family Guy to celebrated the 400 episode of the acclaimed adult animated sitcom on the Fox Studio Lot in Los Angeles on Sunday

Kunis, 39, stepped out for a round of red carpet photos looking stylish in a black dress that was partially covered up with her rustic brown lather jacket.

The actress also donned black shoes and had her dark tresses styled long, straight and flowing down past her chest and back with a part on the middle.

Feeling the excitement of the milestone event, the Ukraine native got playful and posed next to an image of her Meg Griffin character that was adorned on the backdrop of the photo area.

Initially, back in 1999, actress Lacey Chabert voiced the role of Meg in the first season, but she left the series because of time conflicts with her schoolwork at the time and her role on Party Of Five at the time.

After auditioning for the role, Kunis ended up getting a call back to meet with MacFarlane, who then instructed her to speak slower.

She would come back yet again to show off her new and improved enunciation, and once she claimed to have gotten it right where they needed to be MacFarlane hired her to play Meg.

MacFarlane, 49, showed off his fashion sense at the 400th episode celebration decked out in a dark blue suit with a black dress shirt and shoes.

The Connecticut native was just 22 when he came up with the concept for Family Guy while attending RISD. During his time at the college, he created his thesis film entitled The life Of Larry, which was submitted by his professor at RISD to Hanna-Barbera, resulting in MacFarlane being hired by the company.

The series centers on the Griffins, a family consisting of parents Peter and Lois; their children Meg, Chris and Stewie and their anthropomorphic pet dog, Brian.

Set in the fictional city of Quahog, Rhode Island the show exhibits much of its humor in the form metafictional cutaway gags that often lampoon American culture.

As the creator, the actor, screenwriter and singer decided to voice the roles of main character Peter Griffin, Brian Griffin and Stewie Griffin.

He drew inspiration for the voice of Peter from a security guard he overheard talking while attending the RISD;  Stewie’s voice was based on English actor Rex Harrison; while MacFarlane opted to use his regular speaking voice when playing Brian.
