But Michael Clarke showed off his softer side as he walked hand-in-hand with six-year-old daughter, Kelsey, in Sydney on Saturday.

The former Australian cricketing captain, 41, twinned with his daughter in a black baseball cap and shades while making the most of the sunny spring weather.

The father-of-one continued the casual cool athleisurewear look in Grey Nike Air Max 90s, black Asics shorts and matching T-shirt.

Meanwhile, little Kelsey matched her dad in Nike sneakers – but opted for a touch of colour – pairing baby pink kicks, tie-dye fila short and long-sleeved fuchsia jumper. 

At one point, the cricketing legend appeared to look down at his phone while the pair sat down at a cafe, with Clarke wearing Kelsey’s jumper over his shoulders.

The former Australian Cricket Captain shares the youngster with ex-wife Kyly Clarke.

The Clarkes split in September 2019 after seven years of marriage, but did not reveal their break-up until February 12, 2020.

In a statement at the time, the pair said the ‘amicable’ decision to separate was ‘the best course’ for their daughter.

The couple are believed to have met through Jade’s brother-in-law Karl Stefanovic, who is married to her older sister Jasmine Yarbrough.

They recently embarked on a romantic holiday in Europe, where they were seen partying on billionaire James Packer’s superyacht.

The outing comes after photos emerged of the cricketer’s current girlfriend Jade Yarbrough spending time with his former flame Pip Edwards at Darren McMullen’s 40th birthday back in February.

In images from the bash, Pip and Jade were seen smiling and standing next to each other as they sipped drinks from paper cups and chatted with friends at the garden party in Rose Bay, Sydney.

In an awkward twist, Michael also rocked up to the soirée with a bottle of wine in hand after he had split from Pip for the second and final time.

Michael was famously in a relationship with P.E Nation founder Pip for almost two years after he ended his marriage to ex-wife Kyly Clarke in 2019. The pair dated on and off from June 2020 until December last year

The sportsman’s run-in with Pip came a month after he had allegedly hooked up with another eastern suburbs beauty following their break-up.

He reportedly had a dalliance with Double Bay eyebrow queen Kristin Fisher at socialite Dina Broadhurst’s New Year’s Eve party.

The hook-up reportedly caused a fallout between Pip and Broadhurst after they had been close for several years.

She unfollowed her former BFF on Instagram after he and Kristin got together at the New Year’s Eve bash.

Dina also unfollowed Pip. 

Following the drama, Michael remained single for some time before sparking up a romance with Jasmine Yarbrough’s little sister Jade. 

Rumours the pair were dating broke in July this year and they went Instagram official a few weeks later.
