During the night, an acrobat was seen balancing on one leg on a lit up sphere, while dancers were seen hanging off a ring that descended down from the ceiling.
A tower of champagne glasses were filled with giant bottles of Moet by entertainers dressed in gold playsuits with matching headbands.
Mr Triguboff, who is worth about $24billion, took the microphone during the evening and described the moment his colleagues asked what the best moments of his life were.
‘I would say when we had the (Covid) virus everybody turned up to work,’ he said.

‘I didn’t ask anyone to come. They knew that was the way to run the company – to come to work.
‘Then they decided to say that Meriton was like a brotherhood, we’re all brothers you see and I thought well that’s true too.
‘Because even though some people leave from time to time, as far as we’re concerned, they’re always part of us.’

Mr Triguboff grew up in China before attending Scots College in Bellevue Hill, in Sydney’s east.
He made his way into the real estate business during the 1960s and now leads Meriton.
The company is a giant in Australia’s developing world having built more than 77,000 apartments along the nation’s east coast.
