Seen for the first time since his former tenant was arrested for the murder of Microsoft Executive Jared Bridegan, 33, Mario Fernandez today broke cover but refused to comment on the biggest break in the high-profile case to date.

Exclusive pictures obtained by DailyMail.com show Fernandez casually dressed in maroon shorts and muscle shirt in front of his brother Guillermo’s, home in Orlando, Florida.

Back inside after a brief and bizarre few moments during which he crouched close to the ground and shaved with an electric razor, Fernandez, 33, would not come to the door.

Instead he remained in the background to hear DailyMail.com’s repeated questions for a response to the news that Henry Tenon, 61, has been charged on four counts in relation to Bridegan’s callous killing on February, 16, 2022.

Tenon has been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, accessory to a capital felony and felony child abuse with State’s Attorney Melissa Nelson stating categorically that authorities know he did not act alone.

While Fernandez has remained in Florida his estranged wife, mother of Bridegan’s two oldest children, has moved to Washington State.

She has not commented on the news of Tenon’s arrest or rumors of her split from Fernandez but DailyMail.com has learned that they have been living separately since September last year.

The following month she put their marital home in Jacksonville Beach – just minutes from where Bridegan was killed – up for sale. She took the property off the market in January.

Bridegan was shot at point blank range as he took his usual route back to Saint Augustine and his wife Kirsten who was at home with their six-month old daughter, London.

He had just dropped his ten-year-old twins Abbie and Liam back at his ex’s house after a ‘date night,’ part of their contentious custody agreement following their divorce in 2016.

The agreement stated that each had one week on, one week off parenting and on the alternate weeks the parent who did not have custody had a regular Wednesday ‘date night’ with the kids.

A tire was left in the middle of a narrow section of road in the quiet residential enclave of the Sanctuary forcing Bridegan to exit his Volkswagen Atlas to move it. His then two-year old daughter Bexley – his first child with Kirsten – was strapped in the vehicle when her father was ambushed and murdered.

Kirsten told DailyMail.com on Thursday that she has a message for anyone involved in her husband’s killing: ‘Enjoy your freedom while you can’

The Microsoft executive was found 2.2miles from Shanna’s home after dropping off the kids on February 16

Thursday, Kirsten, 31, spoke to DailyMail.com alongside her brother-in-law Adam Bridegan, 36, as they digest the most significant development yet in the investigation into Jared’s murder.

Kirsten had a message to anyone who was involved in her husband Jared’s brutal killing and still at large – ‘Enjoy your freedom while you can.’

She said, ‘We were fortunate, we were informed a bit ahead of time that they had arrested someone. It’s hard to describe [that moment]. Your stomach just drops. You have a whole bunch of questions. How did you find this person? What do they look like?’

Kirsten asked to see a picture of Tenon – a man of whom she had never heard – before police gave a press conference to announce the news yesterday.

The revelation that he had a connection to Fernandez is information that she and the rest of Bridegan’s family are still processing.

She said, ‘It’s sickening because we do know Mario and so the fact that Henry is connected to him. It’s pretty sickening.’

Kirsten has always been certain that whoever shot her husband – lured to get out of his car in a quiet stretch of road by a tire left there as a trap – was not acting alone.

On Wednesday, State Attorney Melissa Nelson doubled down on that with the assertion that authorities know Tenon was not a sole actor but a co-conspirator with another person or persons.
