The mother of two, known for one of her hit songs, All I Want For Christmas, recently announced on Sunday that she will be releasing her first children’s book, The Christmas Princess, next month in November.

Mariah added a long, black coat over her dress to keep herself warm in the cool, fall weather.
To complete her overall outfit for the night, the performer slipped into a pair of open-toed, black high heels.

Her long hair was parted in the middle, allowing the locks to fall down past her shoulders in elegant curls.
As she left a building in the heart of the city, Mariah was guided to enter a large, awaiting black van to drive her to another destination.

The beauty has been working on multiple projects, including writing her very first children’s storybook.
Earlier on Sunday, she announced the big news on her main Instagram page to her 11 million fans and followers.
In the caption to the post, the talented star wrote, ‘Even ‘Little Mariah’ thinks it’s not time yet! Find out why she’s so down and disheveled when my new Christmas fairytale comes out in November!’
The storybook will officially release early next month on November 1, but can already be pre-ordered. She shared a few glimpses of the character and the cover art by uploading a few photos.
Along with penning a book, Mariah also opened up about how she has been planning on releasing a new album.

During an interview on the Rolling Stone Music Now podcast, the mother of two revealed that one of the various projects she has been working on was creating a new ‘themed album.’
‘It’s something that people have been asking me to do for years, but it’s not done in the traditional sense.’
Mariah continued to hint some of the album’s contents by stating, ‘It’s not done yet, but I’m really excited about it. I’m working with some very eclectic, newer artists, as well as some legendary folks.’
Earlier last month on September 16, the award-winning star also released an expanded version of her hit 1997 album, Butterfly, to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
