Mandy Moore CANCELS all remaining concert dates after touring became ‘too challenging’ while pregnant: ‘I truly thought I could power through’

Mandy Moore is canceling the remainder of her current tour because the traveling had become ‘too challenging’ to manage with her pregnancy.

The 38-year-old This Is Us star, who is currently pregnant with her second child, revealed that she was pulling the plug on the rest of her scheduled shows for 2022 in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

All tickets, she said, would be fully refunded.

‘It is with a heavy heart and much consideration that I have to let you all know that I am cancelling my remaining show dates in 2022,’ she penned in a message to fans. 

‘It has been an honor and an absolute dream to return to the stage again this past month, performing for all of you,’ Mandy wrote.

‘When we booked these shows, I wasn’t pregnant and although I truly thought I could power through, the way we are traveling (long hours on the busy and not getting proper rest) has caught up, taken its toll, and made it feel too challenging to proceed,’ she continued.

Adding: ‘I know that I have to put my family and my health (and the health of my baby) first and the best place for me to be right now is at home.’

Just last week, Moore celebrated hitting the six-month milestone in her pregnancy with an Instagram post explaining that she’d been visiting different OB’s while on the road.  

sharing a photo of a recent sonogram she wrote: ‘Keeping on schedule. Grateful of OB visits in new cities along the way to make sure baby boy is a-okay.’

Mandy revealed earlier this month that she and husband Taylor Goldsmith, 35 were growing their family.

They are already parents to 15-month old Augustus Harrison, whom they call Gus.

‘Tour is gonna be slightly different than I expected but I can’t wait and Gus is gonna be the BEST big brother!! Xo,’ Mandy had written when first announcing that she was expecting again.

At the time, Mandy had planned to complete the tour, not realizing how difficult it would be. 

The Real Life singer began her shows on the east coast, with concerts scheduled in Connecticut and Pennsylvania this week, before heading south to Nashville and Texas.

‘I can’t wait to get back out there soon to bring this music and show your way!!,’ she penned at the end of her most recent post, giving disappointed fans hope that she will reschedule her canceled dates.
