Married At First Sight brides at war: Carolina Santos slams ‘rude’ and ‘disrespectful’ Domenica Calarco for ‘making fun of’ a small business who offered her free porcelain veneers
The feud between Married At First Sight brides Carolina Santos and Domenica Calarco escalated on Monday.
In a heated social media row, the former reality television stars came to blows after Domenica posted a video ‘making fun of’ a small business.
The 28-year-old mocked the business on Instagram, joking she had ‘made it’ because they had offered her ‘complementary’ porcelain veneers.

In the video, Domenica superimposed herself over an email she received from Smile Solutions, offering ‘a complementary set of porcelain veneers in exchange for some social deliverables’.Â
‘Guys I never thought this would happen but I’ve finally made it. I’ve been offered porcelain veneers. I’ve made it,’ she said in a mocking tone.
Carolina, 34, hit back at her former co-star in her own Instagram post just moments later.Â

Carolina, who is also a small business owner, wrote: ‘Imagine doing TikTok and Stories making fun of a business who kindly approached you offering you their services because they are trying to grow like every other business?’Â
‘Imagine being that person? Had to call it out. As a small business owner I found that massively disrespectful.’Â
She put the caption over an image of herself from MAFS making a vomit expression alongside the hashtags ‘#rude’ and ‘#youthinkyouareaboveeveryone’.Â

It comes after Carolina recently indicated she is prepared to mount a truth defence after rival MAFS bride Domenica threatened to sue her for defamation.
Domenica said last month she was talking to lawyers after Carolina and two other co-stars, Jessica Seracino and Olivia Frazer, publicly accused her of being ‘violent’ and ‘verbally abusive’ during filming of Married At First Sight in 2021.
When asked to comment on the legal threats, the mother-of-one offered a blunt three-word response to gossip podcast So Dramatic: ‘Bring it on.’

There are four defence strategies someone can employ when accused of defamation: truth, absolute privilege, qualified privilege and fair comment.
If Carolina, Jessica and Olivia are sued for defamation, they will most likely attempt a truth defence by arguing their claims about Domenica are substantially true.
In order to prove this, they will need evidence in the form of witness testimony, video or photos. However, defamation trials can be expensive, drawn-out proceedings, and the most probable outcome is the matter never makes it to court.
