A reality TV star-turned-escort has revealed how she blew thousands of dollars on a luxury lifestyle before learning to ‘respect the money’ she was earning.
Hayley Vernon, 35, who found fame on Married at First Sight before going on to a lucrative career as an escort and OnlyFans model, said she was ‘acting like a flog’ and her ‘little luxuries’ just ‘became her lifestyle’.
In a candid Instagram post Tuesday, Hayley revealed she didn’t realise how much money she was spending until she vowed to eat breakfast at home instead of at cafés and realised she’d saved $280 in a week.

‘What does it take to blow $10,000 a year? Just $27.40 a day in miscellaneous spending. This hits home,’ said Hayley, who has previously spent thousands of dollars on cosmetic surgery.
‘Last week I saved about $280 in a week by not eating breakfast out and that wasn’t including all the lunches I would normally eat out. This year: one meal out a week.
‘Even though I make great money, it’s time to be smart. The money I earn now is not going to last forever.
‘This year I’m living like I would have five years ago, and seriously I’m happier for it.’

‘I was treating myself so often that my treats just became my lifestyle. I was bored because I could just get what I wanted when I wanted.
‘There was no real challenge or restrictions and this made me feel kind of empty, whereas I used to look forward to getting things after waiting or going without, if that makes sense.
‘Well, if you earn more, you spend more, right? No, that’s just stupid. Sure, spend more but a lot of it is ego-driven bulls**t,’ she added
‘I wasn’t respecting the money I was earning and how much I would have just a few years earlier.
‘Don’t get me wrong, I was appreciative and grateful and still am, but I was being reckless to a degree.
‘Well, if you earn more, you spend more, right? No, that’s just stupid. Sure, spend more, but a lot of it is ego-driven bulls**t.

‘Money is great, it f**king makes things easier, but there was a cost in other areas of my life.
‘All I can say is, over the past two weeks, I’ve been the happiest I’ve been and that’s from going back to basics, and there’s a level of accomplishment that comes with that.
‘I was being a flog and I’m not a flog.’
It comes after Hayley revealed she was upgrading the size of her breast implants.

In 2021, she underwent nose and eyelid surgery, later revealing the horrifying aftermath of her multiple procedures.
‘I woke up before and my eye was fused together, that’s because I’ve got fake eyelashes on and obviously there’s blood coming out from my eyelid surgery,’ she said at the time.
She also admitted to getting permanent fillers under her eyes, but said that they had to be moved around because of the nose and eyelid surgeries.
Hayley has already had a breast augmentation, and has been open about getting fillers and Botox.

Despite her various enhancements, there’s one procedure that Hayley will never get – a Brazilian butt lift.
‘Look, a Brazilian bum lift is riskier than heart surgery, 1 in 2000 girls die of infection,’ she said last year.
Hayley now works as a high-end escort, charging clients between $750-$950 an hour.
She’s also one of Australia’s biggest porn stars now, winning Best Newcomer Female Porn Star at The Adult Industry Choice Awards last year.
