Mackenzie goes on to describe herself as a ‘gross’ and ‘sad’ girl for her secret act. Â
‘Mum got this for me so I could be pretty, and I ate it…it tasted awesome and that is the saddest part,’ she wrote.
Defeated, she admitted that there was ‘no winning’ as her stomach began to ache soon after consuming the tube of flavoured lip gloss.
‘I’m too old for this,’ she said, jaded. ‘And beauty tastes good!’
She ended the entry with a large ‘F**k’ scribbled across the bottom of the page.Â
‘I love my diary entries, I think laughing at yourself is crucial if you want to be happy,’ Mackenzie told FEMAIL.Â
‘I’ve always been a really weird person and I’m happy that I documented it. I don’t care if people think I’m being crazy or too vulnerable online. Laughing at me is my favourite thing to do. It’s art to me.’
She is presently a content creator and also sells prints and clothes at her online shop.

Her ardent followers were thrilled to receive another entry from her teenage diaries, and many even went so far as to compare her to Sylvia Plath.
‘This is some Amy Dunne, Lana Del Rey, Sylvia Plath level of writing,’ said one woman.
‘How is everything you wrote so real and down to earth but also so poetic and beautiful?’ asked another.
