Hotel and travel agency employees have revealed the ridiculous requests rich guests have made at luxury resorts across the world.
Employees at hotels from Costa Rica to Switzerland described uber-rich guests spending $4million on shopping sprees, booking private flights for their pets, showering in Sanpellegrino, and demanding mermaids ‘with gills’ to swim in pools at their parties.
The hospitality workers shared their salacious stories with the Washington Post just as the newest season of White Lotus – which viciously satirizes the antics of the rich on vacation – was released on HBO.Â

She said when the family went to restaurants only their bodyguards spoke with the waitstaff.
