‘They never fail to ick me out’: Love Island fans complain they’re bored of ‘dire’ and ‘cringe’ challenges and beg for return of the tweets game

Love Island fans have taken to Twitter to complain that the challenges have become the ‘absolute worst’.

Tuesday night’s episode saw the Islanders tasked with taking part in a space-themed challenge.

The girls had to dress as sexy astronauts and take on different hot and heavy challenges, like dancing round a pole and snogging a male Islander.

Not happy: Love Island fans have taken to Twitter to complain that the challenges have become the ‘absolute worst’

But while the contestants had a blast, viewers at home found themselves cringing at their antics.

One person complained: ‘The challenges used to be good, e.g. the twitter game and the headline game, but now they are dire’.

Another added: ‘Every time I watch these challenges it gives me the ick to think they have to do all of this without any music. Instead it’s just silence & a few pitiful claps from the other islanders.’

Someone else said: ‘sometimes i think of applying to the show but the challenges just remind me how i’m not built for that level of cringe’.

A fourth echoed: ‘These challenges never fail to ick me out. Like PLEASE STOP #loveisland’.

While a fifth suggested: ‘The challenges are the worst. We should always know more about them after the challenges and that’s not always the case. And there needs to be prizes – a date night, access to your phone for 15mins, phone call home, girls night in etc etc…’

And a sixth agreed, writing: ‘It baffles me how these producers still allow these s*** challenges to go ahead. WE NEED THE TWITTER CHALLENGE TO RETURN #TALKSWITHASH #loveisland’.

The complaints come as viewers were left frustrated after a dumping cliffhanger in Tuesday night’s episode.

The villa was rocked when three boys and three girls were put at risk, with new Australian bombshells Jessie Wynter and Aaron Waters having to decide who will go home.

Following the public vote, Kai Fagan, Tom Clare and Haris Namani were at risk, while Anna-May Robey, Tanyel Revan and Tanya Manhenga were the girls with the fewest votes.

However, the episode was left on a dramatic cliffhanger, with the Islanders looking shocked before the two newest Islanders made their decision about who to send home.

But viewers were quick to take to Twitter to rage over the cliffhanger, as they claimed it was obvious that Haris will be evicted.

It comes after it was revealed ahead of Tuesday’s episode that Haris will be dumped after shocking footage of him punching a reveller on a boozy night out emerged.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: ‘Haris is gone’, while another commented: ‘We all know Haris is going.’

Another penned: ‘If everyone knows Haris is gone why did they not just show it?!’

While a fourth fumed: ‘What is the point in that cliffhanger we already know Haris has gone.’

And a fifth added: ‘Boring. we know it’s gonna be anna-mae and haris. you didn’t need to end it on a cliffhanger.’

Another said: ‘So obviously Haris is on the flight home right?,’ while a seventh wrote: ‘Haris in the bottom 3 after we already know he’s left? I can not believe it, I wonder who could be leaving.’
