Frankie Bridge was left red-faced on Friday’s Loose Women as she forgot husband Wayne’s birthday live on air.

The Saturdays singer, 34, has been married to former footballer Wayne Bridge,42, since 2014 and they share sons Parker, nine, and seven-year-old Carter.

But despite their long-term romance, Frankie still had trouble recalling his birthday and had be told the date by a producer, with Frankie going on to protest: ‘It was a momentary blip!’

The blunder occurred as Frankie and her fellow panelists – Jane Moore, Linda Robson and Nadia Sawalha – were discussing whether they live their lives by their star signs.

As they spoke about the topic, the singer pondered what astrological sign her partner was, remarking: ‘I’ve never sat and wondered what star signs they are.’

Before she then went on to ask: ‘Is he a Leo?’ when questioned what star sign Wayne was.

To which Linda replied: ‘Why are you asking us? You’re supposed to know.’

Frankie then tried and failed to recall Wayne’s birthday, saying: ‘8th of… No it’s not the 8th. 4th of August? I walked into that myself didn’t I?

‘Anyway, let’s get out that hole.’

Responding to the laughter from the audience, she added: ‘You see how much I don’t really take much notice of it.’

However, moments later, she was left cringing as Nadia was then told the correct date by producers via her earpiece.

Listening in, Nadia revealed: ‘Oh hang on. Oh dear. 5 of August. Sorry.’

As Frankie looked mortified by her error, Nadia added: ‘He’s still a Leo, but let’s just come out with the truth, it’s the 5th of August.’

Defending her actions, an embarrassed Frankie protested: ‘It was a momentarily blip, okay.

‘I did the same, you know when you have to go and do your marriage thing to be allowed to get married and they asked for his birthday and I gave her three options.’

She added: ‘I just briefly forgot. His mum always watches this as well!’

Elsewhere, last month Frankie opened up on the ‘belittling’ sexual harassment she receives online.

The former popstar, 34, revealed the constant barrage of harassment she faces, saying that she ‘regularly’ gets sent ‘disgusting’ messages ‘all the time’.

Speaking to Fabulous magazine, Frankie praised Emily Atack for opening up on her documentary Emily Atack: Asking For It?

Speaking to the publication, she said: ‘I generally don’t get [sent] pictures, but I’ve had regular people sending me the same disgusting messages all the time.

‘I know what it’s going to be now, so I try not to open it, but it makes you feel belittled – and I think this is a conversation we need to be having.

‘It’s a really hard one to crack down on and we’ve got a long way to go until it’s eradicated.’
