Lizzo reveals she got ‘so drunk’ with Adele at the Grammy Awards

Lizzo revealed that she and Adele were ‘so drunk’ at the Grammy Awards, which took place on Sunday. 

During her interview on Elvis Duran and the Morning show, Lizzo said that they couldn’t keep up with who won what during the ceremony.

‘We were like, “Did they do Best Artist?”‘ Lizzo said. 

‘We didn’t even know, and when it was time and they would call our names we would just be like, “Smile,”‘ she added.

The singer also revealed that she brought alcohol for herself and Adele – in flasks.

Lizzo brought herself a flask of tequila and a flask of white wine for Adele, although she ended up drinking Adele’s as well.

‘I brought it for Adele, and then I drank hers,’ as Lizzo explained she has a ‘flask collection’ at home to match her outfits.

The songstress said that she had no say where she was seated at the awards show, but Adele did.

‘I had zero say in where I was sitting, but Adele had 100% say in where she was sitting. So therefore Adele Facetimed me when I was in Grammy rehearsal a few days before. She was like “Oh my God! Oh my God, we’re sitting next to each other,’ she said. 

She also chatted about how she thinks she owes Harry Styles an apology.

The artist said that she complimented Harry on his performance, which ended up having a stage malfunction.

After he sat down, Lizzo said she gave him a compliment but Harry told her that the ‘turntable went the wrong way.’

Lizzo recalled that she told him ‘”Nobody noticed”‘ and then she said she told him a joke.

Lizzo said she told their friend Tom ‘”Don’t tell him we all noticed.”‘

The artist said she feels like she needs to apology to him for downplaying the stage malfunction.

‘I would have been so scared if that was me,’ she recalled.
