Lily Collins shares photos where she resembles dad Phil Collins to wish him happy 72nd birthday

Lily Collins sent out a sweet birthday message to her father, rocker Phil Collins, in honor of his 72nd birthday. 

The Emily in Paris star posted a series of flashback photos of herself and the Genesis drummer in similar poses and outfits.   

‘Like father, like daughter,’ the 33-year-old wrote in her Instagram caption.

The snaps include a fully clothed Phil sitting in a bathtub, next to one of Lily similarly reclined. 

‘Happy birthday, dad,’ she continued. ‘Thank you for being a constant inspiration, constant laugh, and constant legend. I love you so much and am celebrating you big time today!’ 

Other photos show Grammy winner in a picture from his early years with his arms crossed, looking serious as he stares into a camera wearing a blue jacket, next Lily in a similar blue jacket.

Another set juxtaposes a shot of the In the Air Tonight singer in a pair of overalls, lounging on a sofa, while the Mank actress poses in a pair at the beach with a floppy hat on her head. 

The Mirror Mirror star’s husband, Charlie McDowell, responded with his greetings, posting three heart emojis and a birthday cake emoji. 

Producer Marti Noxon posted, ‘And he was one half of making amazing you! Happy birthday to Phil!’

Actress Taylour Paige-Angulou responded with a kiss and a wave emoji, and Lily’s Emily in Paris co-star William Abadie responded with ‘My idol.’ 

The Easy Lover singer is still going strong.

After winding up a reunion tour with Genesis in March 2022, Phil has a new tour planned and is expected to take his show on the road across the US for a series of dates beginning in September.
