Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones paid tribute to her grandmother Princess Margaret as she arrived at Tatler’s Little Black Book party in London in a stunning white faux fur coat.

The 20-year-old – who is the daughter of The Earl of Snowdon and his ex-wife Serena Armstrong-Jones – gave a nod to one of her paternal grandmother’s most famous outfits for her night out in Soho on Thursday.

Pictured arriving at cabaret and cocktail bar The Windmill, the Oxford Brookes student looked sensational in a silver sequin mini dress with a plunging scooped neckline.

Opting for a silver smokey-eyed look, Lady Margarita styled her blonde hair in loose waves and finished off her look with a pair of black heels and a coat reminiscent to one her late grandmother owned in the 1950s.

The bespoke Michael Kors creation seems to have been based on a piece of outwear a then-21-year-old Princess Margaret wore to the premiere of Captain Horatio Hornblower in 1951.

The glamorous film premiere took place on April 12, 1951 in Leicester Square – just a stone’s throw from where the Princess’ granddaughter partied the night away in Soho earlier this week.

Underneath her fur coat, the late Princess – who passed away from a stroke in 2002 –  wore a V-neck, long-sleeved dress embellished with pink sequins.

71 years later, Lady Margarita – who is Prince William and Prince Harry’s second-cousin – gave each aspect of her grandmother’s outfit an intentional modern twist and completed the ensemble with a pair of thin gold hoop earrings.

The royal fashionista seems to have inherited the creative skills of her carpenter father and is currently studying to become a silver jewellery designer.

Lady Margarita wasn’t the only royal who attended Tatler’s exclusive bash – as Lady Eliza and Amelia Spencer also made an appearance too.
