Lady Gaga gets sued by dog theft accomplice for not receiving the $500K reward she thought she’d get for returning them

Lady Gaga has been sued by the woman charged with the theft of her two french bulldogs.

According to TMZ, Jennifer McBride said that Gaga, 36, made it clear that she would pay the person who returned her dogs $500K, ‘no questions asked.’

The Poker face singer announced the reward back in February 2021 after her dogs were taken.

McBride reportedly wants the $500K and also wants the court to triple the damages to $1.5 million for posting the misleading reward.

Koji and Gustav, the star’s pups, were stolen from her dog walker, Ryan Fischer, at gunpoint in Los Angeles.

He was left shot on the sidewalk when neighbors found him, and ended up surviving his injuries.

L.A. County Deputy District Attorney, Michele Hanisee, told TMZ McBride was aware the pups were stolen when she returned them.

Her intention was to obtain the reward. She also had known the men involved in the shooting for years.

McBride originally returned the dogs to the American Horror Story actress at the LAPD Olympic Community station two days after they were taken.

She was later charged with receiving stolen property in connection to the left.

The woman was also charged with being an accessory to the crime after the fact.

Allegedly, McBride was dating the father of one of the men responsible for the crime.

The man who shot Fischer, James Howard Jackson, pled no contest to a count of attempted murder and was given 21 years in prison.
