She caused a buzz when she released a line of gummies which purport to support vaginal wellness.

Now Kourtney Kardashian has shared behind-the-scenes snaps from her Lemme Purr campaign shoot.

In the photos, Kourtney, 43, slipped her body into flirty cropped sweater and matching canary yellow leather pants as she posed with a bottle of her new gummies.

The photos captured the reality sensation laying on the floor as her co-star, a cute cat, made their way around the set.

A crew member attempted to gain the animal’s attention with the aid of a toy.

Her feet slipped into strappy heels, Kourtney looked seductive as she lay splayed out on the floor in her eye-catching outfit.

She flashed a fun peace sign for the camera with her glossy lips puckered up.

‘a little bts from my @lemme purr campaign,’ she captioned the photos with a cat emoji.

In the final product of the ad, Kourtney lays on the floor in her yellow look while cats walk in circles around her.

Kourtney debuted the new gummy last month and claimed the products were made to support ‘vaginal wellness.’

It is developed with ‘clinically-studied probiotics to support its taste, odor and freshness, complete with pineapple extract for added sweetness,’ per the Lemme website.

So what’s in it? The gummies contain pineapple, vitamin C and probiotics.

The Lemme Purr gummies were released last month and are priced at $30 USD.

The product has since come under fire from gynecologists, who said there was no scientific evidence the products work.

The reality star has also faced backlash over suggestions that the probiotics ‘specifically target vaginal health and pH levels to support freshness and odour’ – which many have claimed is ‘misogynistic’ and ‘patriarchy in a pot’.

But experts have been far from impressed with the supplement – and have warned people not to ‘spend your hard-earned cash on this product’.

Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialist, Dr Brooke Vandermolen, shares expert insights into women’s health on her Instagram and TikTok pages, going by @theobgynmum.

Speaking to Femail, the London-based NHS doctor said there is ‘no merit’ to the claim that the tablets can ‘target’ vaginal wellness.

‘In a healthy person – one who doesn’t suffer with recurrent infections – there is no reliable scientific evidence that taking probiotics have any beneficial effect.

‘Probiotics are also a catch-all term, meaning it can contain any number of different bacteria and we don’t know if those contained in this supplement have been tested and show any benefit or that when taken orally, that they will even reach the vagina.’

Brooke also took issue with the suggestion that Lemme Purr gummies can help promote improved ‘freshness, odour and taste’.

‘All vaginas have an individual smell and taste which will vary according to your menstrual cycle, exercise patterns and your diet.

‘The odor of discharge is important for the function of the vagina because it means a healthy balance of bacteria are present in the vaginal microbiome.

‘It is purely misogynistic and anti-feminist to suggest that vaginas are somehow unclean or unhygienic because their natural smell doesn’t fit in with the ideal provided in mainstream media and porn.’

Brooke also expressed concern about the advertising around the cat-themed product, which she described as ‘crude and vulgar’.
