Kelly Macdonald and Colin Firth led the stars attending the premiere of Operation Mincemeat at The Curzon Mayfair in London on Tuesday. 

Kelly arrived on the blue carpet in a black and silver patterned shirt which she paired with a black skirt.

The star added height to her frame with a pair of black ankle boots and complimented her outfit with matching tights.

Cinching her waist with a matching belt, the actress completed her look by styling her locks into an updo. 

Colin, who stars as British judge Ewen Montague in the war drama, looked suave for the screening as he wore a black blazer and trousers with a white shirt. 

Their co-star Jason Isaacs looked dapper in an all-black look, sporting a matching blazer, trousers and shirt.

Claudia Winkleman looked sensatiional as she made a rare public appearance with her husband Kris Thykier.

The Strictly Come Dancing presenter donned a black blazer, pairing it with matching leggings.

Adding height to her frame with a pair of white heels, the broadcaster carried a black handbag and let her tresses fall loose down her shouders. 

Kris, who served as a producer on Operation Mincemeat, sported a dark grey blazer, mathching trousers and a white shirt.

Jimmy Carr made his first red carpet appearance since the controversy over his holocaust joke.

The comedian sparked criticism over a clip from his special His Dark Material, which saw him joke that the ‘thousands of gypsies killed by the Nazis’ was a ‘positive’ effect of the Holocaust.

However he has since put the controversy behind him and appeared in good spirits at the film premiere where he sported a three-piece blue suit.

Having previously been brought to life on the big screen in 1956, the 1943-set blockbuster will document the real life Operation Mincemeat.

The mission was intended to distract the Axis away from an Allied invasion and liberation of Sicily and consisted of making a soldier’s corpse appear to be a downed pilot.

He would be carrying documents showing an Allied plan to attack the Axis controlled Greece rather than Sicily.

The corpse would then was ashore near a known Axis base, having been dropped into the ocean, leading Axis forces to defend Greece, which allowed the Allied forces to liberate Sicily.
