‘Age is just a number!’: Eighties supermodels Kelly Emberg, 62, and Beverly Johnson, 69, prove they still look incredible on magazine cover

The 80s supermodels are not aging – think Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington.

And on Tuesday, Kelly Emberg, 62, and Beverly Johnson, 69, proved they still look fantastic as well as they posed for the cover of GenLux magazine‘s ‘Age Is Just A Number’ issue.

The beauties wore the same white-and-yellow halter dresses as they posed on a beach in Malibu.

‘I am so honored and proud to be on the cover of this Genlux May/June issue with my good friend Beverly,’ said Kelly on Instagram.

‘A beautiful person inside and out! The talented Marc Baptiste was is the photographer!’ she added as she thanked her hair stylist and makeup artist.

Texas native Emberg appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue as well as the covers of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

And she was also in advertisements for Cover Girl cosmetics, Napier Jewelry, and Calvin Klein. 

Emberg has daughter Ruby Stewart, 34, with her former flame, rocker Rod Stewart.

New York native Beverly came to fame when she became the first African-American model to appear on the cover of American Vogue in August 1974.

In 1975, Johnson became the first black woman to appear on the cover of the French edition of Elle.

She has starred on the show Beverly’s Full House and appeared on Ashanti. 

The star was married twice: to Danny Sims from 1977 until 1979) and to Billy Potter from 1971 until 1974. She also dated Sex And The City star Chris Noth.
