Kate Hudson and Danny Fujikawa have been engaged for more than a year – and dating for six years – and the wedding is still in the planning stages.

The How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days star – who recently celebrated that film’s 20th anniversary –  appeared on Tuesday’s episode of the Table for Two podcast and dished about her wedding plans – or current lack thereof.

‘Right now, planning a wedding feels insane, but I’m excited to plan a wedding, and I go back and forth between a small wedding and a large wedding,’ the Glass Onion star, 43, said.

After all, what’s the rush – the couple has been together for years and share daughter Rani Rose, four.

The Fabletics spokesperson was previously married to the Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson, 56 from 2000 to 2007.

Pack your bags: Kate Hudson, 43, and Danny Fujikawa, 36 have been engaged for more than a year and the Almost Famous star has her sights set on a destination wedding

‘So there’s a part of me that wants the big bash, you know?’ she said. ‘There’s, like, two sides to me: the big bash or the small, intimate wedding. I think somewhere in there I’m going to come up with both.’

‘It’ll totally be a destination wedding,’ the mom of three said. ‘It’ll be such an adventure that people will really want to have to come to show up. To me, those are always the most fun weddings. Like, if you really want to be there, you’ll be there.’

‘If someone’s like, “I can’t really be there,” then I don’t want you there. That’s all I got right now. That’s all I got for the wedding,’ she joked.

And then, sometimes she thinks a traditional Japanese ceremony is the way to go. That wedding would honor the heritage of Danny, 36, and their daughter.

‘We do sometimes go back and forth with the traditional Japanese wedding ceremony, which would be really beautiful and quite emotional for Danny, seeing as his dad is gone,’ she said.

But the Bride Wars star is sure if friends and family want to see her get married, they will have to travel – whether that wedding is big or small, Japanese or traditional.

And she has nothing but high praise for her fiancé.

She called him “handsome” and “the best” and gushed over how happy she was with the ring he proposed with.

‘I love my ring. I really wanted a flat stone, and he really delivered,’ she said.

And Kate understands her life – and her family – are a bit unconventional and she embraces it.

She has three kids with three different fathers and says it the co-parenting manages to work because she practices what she calls compassionate detachment.

She shares son Ryder, 19, with ex-husband Robinson and son  Bingham, 11, with singer Matt Bellamy, who she dated from from 2011 to 2014.

‘It doesn’t make any sense. It goes against every religious grain in the book. And yet, I’m happy, and my kids are happy,’ she said, adding ‘It feels liberated. I don’t feel the failure.’

‘Whatever is causing the head butting and this inability to move forward, I’m going to stay compassionate towards the partner,’ she said about her exes.

Hudson added that her kids are her priority while juggling their multiple fathers.

‘For me, it’s all about my unit, and those are my babies, and I’m the center,’ the Almost Famous star said.
