Jury is DISCHARGED in the case of Brittany Higgins’ accused rapist – as she appears at court for the first time since giving evidence – as jury deliberates for the seventh day

Brittany Higgins has appeared at court for the first time since giving evidence in the trial of her accused rapist. 

Bruce Lehrmann has pleaded not guilty to one count of sexual intercourse without consent and is facing trial.

He is accused of raping Ms Higgins during a drunken night out in March 2019, which he has always denied. 

The jury is in its seventh day of deliberations. 

The case is before ACT Supreme Court Justice Lucy McCallum.
