‘When in Sydney, Dusty comes down to the gym and trains out there. Fitness brings people together,’ he said.

It comes after Dustin teamed up with Jono recently to launch his health and fitness app called Drip.

In an interview with the Herald Sun in July, the midfielder revealed how mindfulness has contributed to his success on the field.

‘I think the more successful you become the more distractions there are. Being able to stay focused on the things that made you great, keeps you getting better,’ he said.

Dustin continued: ‘To me, mindfulness is something you have to be disciplined with and work on ā€“ it’s a skill just like learning to kick a football.’

The talented footballer features on most of the workout programs offered on the app, and has hand-selected a team of coaches and athletes.

There are a variety of workouts that focus on HIIT, cardio, strength, yoga and Pilates to name a few, while there’s also courses available on meditation and mindfulness.

Dustin has made headlines for his changing frame, having lost a reported 10kg since recovering from surgery for a lacerated kidney back in July last year.

The Brownlow medallist was placed on a strict fruit-only diet to help his recovery following the surgery. Fruit-only diets are regularly used to treat kidney trauma.

Richmond Physical Performance Manager Peter Burge conceded in August that Dustin had ‘lost a little bit of weight’ due to the unusual nutrition program.

‘He has had to manage his diet [for his] health a little bit over the last couple of weeks and will do over the next three to four weeks as well,’ he said at the time.

‘He is working with specialists and once he has got the tick off from the specialists, he will be able to resume some form of light training over the off-season.’

Dustin spent nine days in hospital after suffering a lacerated kidney in a brutal on-field clash with Brisbane player Mitch Robinson on July 16.

He missed the last month of the AFL season due to the injury.
