The bike is a classic 1955 Harley Davidson Model K, according to TMZ, which initially reported on the auction.
The motorcycle is being put up for sale through Kruse GWS Auctions, with an opening bid set at $250,000.

The auction house also stated that the vehicle was used both on set in California and on location in Maryland, where many films by director John Waters have been shot.
The motorcycle is currently on display at a museum in Branson, Missouri, after having gone through multiple owners over the years.
The auction house is also selling off a mandolin that Janis Joplin once owned and gifted to Jimi Hendrix, which is estimated to sell for $250,000.
