Joe Manganiello showed off a beautiful new Dungeons & Dragons table made for him by the Black Forest Wood Co. in a video he posted to Instagram on Saturday.

The 46-year-old actor – who wife Sofía Vergara revealed was a ‘nerd’ in 2017 – shared a clip of the table’s installation.

The video begins with the star seeing the table and saying, quite frankly, ‘Holy sh*t.’

A member of Black Forest Wood Co., based in Canada, said in a voice over that the company was commissioned to make a table for his next D&D campaign.

This table was made of bastogne walnut, according to the voice over, and had a midnight blue base layer with a clear top layer.

The table had obvious land and water masses on it, and the team from Black Forest took the table down to Los Angeles for delivery.

After opening the table, Joe seemed awestruck at its beauty, moving around it to check out every nook.

When asked if he liked it, the True Blood actor responded, ‘Yeah, it’s f*cking wild man.’

He then named several celebrities he campaigns with in the fantasy role-playing game including Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, comedian Vince Vaughn, director James Gunn and Tiffany Haddish.

Vergara made a quick cameo in the video, handing over their beloved dog Bubbles to Joe.

He talked about how many ‘little nuances’ the table had and added that his ‘mind was blown.’

Joe is a well-documented nerd with his wife Sofía mentioning it on a red carpet back in 2017.

‘The highlight of his life is to play Dungeons and Dragons,’ she jokingly said at the time. ‘He talks together with like eight friends… He has a dungeon room downstairs.’

Vergara also talked about his addiction to the game in 2020 during an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show when she said he was still playing with his crew over Zoom.

‘It’s super weird,’ she said at the time. ‘They’re really weird.’

Years of playing: 'I wound up spending every summer on an island in Maine and the kids on that island were avid role-playing gamers,' he said in the interview. 'It was like the Blind Melon video when the gates open up and it’s the land of the bees! You meet your own kind'

However, she was also a supportive spouse, adding, ‘But it sounds fun. Joe is a complete nerd. I always tell him that he’s stuck in the wrong body.’

Joe has been very open about his love of the game in past interviews, having opened up about it to The Hollywood Reporter in 2017.

He went on to say he’s usually the dungeon master, the person who runs the games and creates the storylines, rather than a general player.
