According to The Sun, Jesy and Zion checked into a five-star Sandals resort in  Montego Bay for their luxurious getaway.

A source said: ‘It’s early days and there is definitely no label on things but Jesy and Zion have grown close in recent weeks.

They are taking things at their own pace and playing it all by ear but they are really enjoying each other’s company. Jamaica was the perfect chance to really get to know each other away from where they could be recognised.

‘Jesy is in a really great place right now and excited for what’s in store for next year.’

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Jesy Nelson for comment.

Jesy marked her return by posting a black screen on her Instagram Story with a lengthy message.

She said: ‘Hello my beautiful people, I am back! I decided I needed a bit of a social media break and it did me the world of good. I have missed you all so much.

‘Thank you to all my amazing fans for being so loyal and patient I promise you there will be music soon but wanted to make sure it was perfect! Keep your eyes out for some clues but it is coming early next year.’

The pop star, who departed the band in 2020, has chosen her second single after releasing her debut solo single Boyz with Nicki Minaj in October last year, with the track peaking at Number 4 in the charts.
