Janelle Monáe rocked leather from head-to-toe as she walked the red carpet at the 2022 Outfest Legacy Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The singer-songwriter – who identifies as non-binary and uses she/her and they/them pronouns – posed up in a vinyl bustier and high-waisted pencil skirt that gave a peek at their toned tummy.
She layered her her eye-catching look by letting a fitted blazer hang off her shoulders as she posed for shutterbugs.

Monáe held gray clutch in her hand and placed a chic hat atop her head of short, dyed blonde hair.
They accessorized with big gold earrings as well.
The Kansas native posed for a snap with Damien S. Navarro, who is the executive director of the annual festival.
Monáe was honored with the Trailblazer Award at Saturday night’s ceremony.

Fran Drescher of The Nanny also stepped on to the red carpet in an all black ensemble.
The 65-year-old sitcom star wore a low-cut blazer with sequin panels that sparkled under the lights.
She added matching slacks to the outfit, and she stood on high heels.
Drescher’s ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson, to whom she was married from 1978 to 1999, posed with the Hotel Transylvania actress.

Del Barrio donned a baggy black suit jacket, a large scarf which looked like an untied necktie and black trousers. They added a white button-down shirt and black loafers to the ensemble.
Cruz looked classy in an all black ensemble sans tie. He planted a kiss high on del Barrio’s head as they made their way into the event.

Javicia Leslie donned a low-cut black blazer with silver trim that showed off her braless chest.
The 35-year-old added black slacks and black high heels. She smiled a close-lipped grin through bright red lips.
Laith Ashley, 33, stunned in a light pink blazer with a matching silk shirt underneath the coat. He added a silk scarf to the outfit as well.
The Outfest Legacy Awards is an annual ceremony put on by Outfest a ‘Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization whose impact promotes empathy for the global LGBTQIA+ community, careers in the entertainment industry, and the exhibition/preservation of LGBTQIA+ stories and voices,’ according to the festival’s press release.
