Janelle Monáe turned heads as they flaunted their boundary-breaking style on the red carpet at the BAFTA Tea Party event in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
The singer, 37 – who uses she/her and they/them pronouns – earned the attention of photographers by showing off her very quirky dog-shaped purse.
She styled the fun handbag with a black three-piece set featuring a doodle-like floral pattern throughout.

The BAFTA Tea Party is an invitation-only event limited to members of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and their guests.
This year’s event took place at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills and featured Cate Blanchett, Kate Hudson, Angela Bassett, Michelle Yeoh among other film stars.

Janelle will next be honored with the #SeeHer Award presented by their Glass Onion castmate Kate Hudson at the 28th Critics’ Choice Awards, which air this Sunday on The CW.
