Footage from a glamorous influencer couple’s wedding has gone viral after the groom was accused of copying paragraphs of his wedding speech from a popular Pinterest meme.
Instagram star Jadé Tuncdoruk, 27, tied the knot with male model Lachie Brycki, 29, at a lavish Hunter Valley ceremony in October, and surprised fans on Wednesday by sharing clips from the ceremony on social media.
One clip showed Lachie delivering his emotional wedding speech, telling his new wife: ‘When I say I love you more, I don’t mean I love you more than you love me. I mean I love you more than the bad days ahead of us’.
‘I love you more than any fight we will ever have, I love you more than the distance between us, I love you more than any obstacle that could try and come between us,’ the influencer tearfully added.
Eagle-eyed fans immediately noticed these passages from an extremely popular poem by writer Erin Nicole that is often re-posted on social media sites like Pinterest.

In fact, the poem is featured in the first website that pops up when you search ‘Love Quotes’ in Google.
Instagram ‘snark’ account Influencer Updates AU has since reposted the clip, sparking debate among its follower about whether it is passé to use viral online poems in a wedding speech.
‘How humiliating!’ one user wrote, while another added: ‘Hilarious’.
On Wednesday, Jadé shared a clip on TikTok of Lachie reading the speech at their wedding, adding the caption: ‘Every time I watch this I cry’
‘I know people are saying let it go, but as a wedding vow, it needs to be personal. Copying the entire speech from a poem would make me feel loved less,’ someone else wrote.
However, other fans jumped to defend the fitness model, pointing out that some people struggle to express themselves in speeches and require a helping hand from the internet.
‘Maybe writing original words wasn’t his forte but he found words that expressed what he felt, and it’s clearly genuine, look at him tearing up,’ one user wrote.

Others argued that many people take inspiration from online quotes during their marriage vows, and that shaming Lachie for allegedly doing so was unfair.
‘I think just because they aren’t his words, doesn’t take away from the meaning of what he said. He clearly resonated well with the poem and meant every word he said, his words or not,’ someone commented.

In the clip, Jadé raised her hands to her face in shock as her beau presented her with a ring while they stood on the shore of an idyllic beach.
She explained how the proposal happened in her caption, writing: ‘Lach and I do this thing where we ask the other to ‘tell me 5 things you love about me’.
‘Today, Lach randomly started telling me five things he loves about me which was unexpected but of course, completely welcome.
‘For the fifth thing he said: ‘But most of all, I love knowing that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I just need to know if you want to spend the rest of yours with me?”
