Is Pink losing her touch Down Under? Singer’s last two singles fail to set Aussie charts alight
US pop sensation Pink has always had a special relationship with Australia, but listeners Down Under may have lost their love for her music.Â
The 43-year-old released her ninth studio album Trustfall in recent days and is getting ready for her Australian tour next year.
However, her first two singles from the album – Never Gonna Not Dance Again and Trustfall –Â are failing to set Aussie charts alight.Â
Never Gonna Not Dance Again, which was released last November, failed to reach the top 50 in the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) charts, with it peaking at 64.Â
The singers second single from the record – Trustfall – has been slightly more successful Down Under.Â

It was released on February 17, the same day as her new album, and while it made the top 50 for the following week, it only came in at 34.Â
Despite this, the So What hitmaker has had success on the Australian iTunes charts.
Within hours of releasing Never Gonna Not Dance Again it hit number one, taking over from Taylor Swifts Anti-Hero.Â
Trustfall is also the number one album on the Australian iTunes charts for the week starting February 20, and her song of the same name is at number two on the singles chart.Â
Never Gonna Not Dance Again also remains on the chart at number 24 while another song on her album, When I Get There, is currently sitting at number nine.Â
Fans still appear keen to watch the singer perform live as she recently announced extra dates to several cities across the country for her Summer Carnival Tour which will arrive Down Under next year.Â
She will kick off the Australasian leg of her tour at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on February 9, 2024.
Pink said she told her husband, Carey Hart, that they should move to Australia. Carey and Pink have two children – daughter Willow, 11, and son Jameson, six. All pictured
The star will then perform at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle on February 13; Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on February 16; Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast on February 20; Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on February 23; Adelaide Oval on February 27; and Optus Stadium in Perth on March 1.
This comes as Pink recently said that she was ‘looking into’ becoming an Australian citizen.Â
‘Last year I was thinking about applying for citizenship, I am not even joking,’ she told Channel 9’s 60 Minutes.
She added that she told her husband, Carey Hart, that they should move, and that she ‘can’t wait’ to tour Australia again.
