At the time, she shared a photo on Instagram of herself wearing a skimpy black bikini and a designer scarf on her head.
Ruby explained in the caption she wanted to flaunt her ‘cute tiger stripes’ – referring to the small stretch marks on her hip.Â
Her followers were divided over the image, with one saying it felt like a humblebrag.
‘Not a standard postpartum tummy/body! Very envious and happy for you having such an amazing tummy though,’ they commented.

‘It is very obvious that it isn’t natural and I think a woman with a platform should perhaps have a little more awareness,’ another fan wrote.
Ruby responded to the negative comments by saying: ‘I don’t think there is a standard or rules on how to look postpartum.
‘Each pregnancy is so different and how your body reacts is different too.
‘I’m saying that I’ve been moving my body for 28 minutes a day five days a week for my mental health, something I never did with my other pregnancies, so that is the reason I’m more toned.’

After receiving a message from a troll who called her post ‘problematic’, Ruby hit back:Â ‘No. Eating well and working out isn’t problematic.
‘And showing my body in all forms and being honest about it isn’t either.’
‘People need to realise I’m not telling them that they need to look like me. It’s my personal journey,’ she added.Â

‘20.09.22 – 2.56kg – 8.41am at 36 weeks. Our hearts are overflowing and we are completely in love,’ she wrote.
