I’m A Celeb FIRST LOOK: Jungle ‘VIP’ Chris Moyles shouts for help while TRAPPED in a water chamber as Olivia Attwood squirms during the series’ gruelling first trial ‘HMS Drown Under’
The first challenge, HMS Drown Under, sees both Chris and Boy George laying flat inside a chamber with safety goggles on.
And as presenters Ant McParlin and Declan Donnelly announce ‘turn the taps’, a flush of cold water comes into their repsective chambers.
As the first but of water begins to flush through, Chris can be seen letting oujt a shout and exclaiming: ‘Ay, ay, ay, you could’ve warmed it up a bit. Holy moly’.
While Boy George sits tight in silence, appearing to handle the shock to the system well.
Hard at work: As the men are locked in, Olivia and A Place In The Sun presenter Scarlette are stood upright, reaching their hands inside small wall openings
As the men are locked in, Olivia and A Place In The Sun presenter Scarlette are stood upright, reaching their hands inside small wall openings.
The pair have to reach in and unscrew a pipe screw inside the wall, but are met with a sea of worms surrounding the pipes.
Squirming at the unfamilar feel of the invertebrates, Scarlette is seen shaking while she and Olivia begin to scream in unison.
The clip shows a row of numbered holes in the wall, suggesting a new creepy crawly will be in each one – with a star up for grabs each time.
But keeping a positive mindset, Scarlette encourages: ‘Keep going, keep going.’
‘Ugh, it’s freezing,’ says Chris at the end of the clip, as he struggles to keep calm in the small space.
A laughing Ant and Dec can be seen watching from the outside, as they keep an eye on both the celebs and the clock.
The four campmates were forced to do the first trial of the season after being crowned ‘VIPs’ of the jungle during Sunday’s launch episode, with Ant and Dec later revealing that this was an acronym for ‘Very Isolated People’.
