Love Island’s Zara Lackenby-Brown has told how she felt ‘lonely and isolated’ in the villa amid her feud with Olivia Hawkins.
The reality star, 25, got off on the wrong foot with the ring girl, 27, after they both had their eyes on hunk Tom Clare and came to blows several times.
Now Zara has told how she really felt amid the fighting, claiming that no one else in the villa really cared that she was upset and that the other girls only comforted Olivia.
Speaking on the Reality with Will Njobvu podcast she said: ‘No one really cared when I was down. They thought I was fine – but it takes two to tango.
‘It was like she (Olivia) was the victim and I was the villain. I will defend myself. She didn’t like me standing up for myself.
Upset: Love Island’s Zara Lackenby-Brown has told how she felt ‘lonely and isolated’ in the villa amid her feud with Olivia Hawkins
‘I was made to be the villain as I was more confident so they just comforted her more. There are two sides to this. Every little thing I did she just ran with it. I felt so isolated and lonely. No one cared that I was upset.’
Speaking further about the feud she told how she really felt about Olivia, saying: ‘She’s the one who is trying to start drama! She was on Tanyel and then trying to start problems with Samie too.
‘If anyone is about drama it is her. Maybe she was intimidated by girls who knew their worth. It’s giving that. We should never have had an issue to begin with.’
It comes after some dedicated Love Island fans complained to Ofcom about Zara‘s time on the hit show.
According to The Sun, some viewers have claimed Zara was a victim of ‘alleged racism and bullying towards her’.
The publications reports a total of 122 complaints for the matter were recorded to Ofcom in recent weeks.
A total of 78 viewers also made complaints related to ‘alleged manipulative and misogynistic behaviour from other contestants,’ while 59 complaints accused contestant Tom of ‘alleged aggressive behaviour’.

The publication reports that Ofcom is not investigating the complaints.
Zara also recently said she has ‘no regrets’ abut her time on the show, after being booted off.
An ITV and Love Island spokesperson told MailOnline on Wednesday that they have professionals on site to help support contestants if needed.
‘We have dedicated welfare producers and psychological support on hand at all times who monitor and regularly speak to all of the Islanders in private and off camera,’ they said.
Candid: She added: ‘I was made to be the villain as I was more confident so they just comforted her more. I felt so isolated and lonely. No one cared that I was upset!’
They added: ‘All the Islanders are therefore fully supported by the professionals on site and by their friends in the Villa.’
It comes after Zara insisted she was perfectly content with her entire time in the villa despite being left furious after Tom kissed Ellie Spence behind her back.
During an appearance on spin-off show Aftersun on Sunday, Zara was adamant she had ‘no regrets’ despite causing chaos on the show after she broke the news of Tom’s dalliance with Ellie, 25, to her fellow Islanders.
Last Monday, Zara fumed as she learned of Tom’s kiss with Ellie just hours after the pair had decided to end their coupling.

When asked if she had any doubts about going straight for Tom by show host Maya Jama, 28, Zara responded: ‘I regret nothing. Our connection was completely mutual. It’s really intense in there, a day feels like a week.
‘He really put his eggs in my basket at one point. What more could I ask for? Until he turned into Terrace Tom.’
However, she seemed unimpressed that Tom chose to keep his options open with Ellie and Olivia, adding: ‘He does say one thing to one girl and one thing to another, I don’t think he actually knows what he wants. Maybe it’s his age.’
On what originally attracted her to Tom, she said: ‘His eyes! They stare into your soul. He’s very relaxing.’

She also told Grazia about her connection with Tom at the start of the show, saying: ‘Our feelings towards each other were mutual and he admitted he had never had a spark with someone so quickly on the outside.’
However, she claimed an argument the pair had was unaired by ITV.
‘The argument with Tom was unaired and it’s weird that it wasn’t aired actually – context wise it would have made sense why the challenge went the way it did.
‘Me and Tom had an amazing day – it was probably the best day we had together in the villa. We got ready for the evening and me and the girls were sitting by the firepit.

‘Then Tom come storming over like ‘Zara, come here, I need to talk to you.’ He was literally raging.’
She added: ‘I went to touch his shoulder but he squirmed away from me. He said, ‘The boys and everyone else have been saying all this stuff about you. Apparently, you fancy Aaron and you’ve been using Shaq to make me jealous.”
Zara then explained that the challenge happened soon after that, and what Tom had said had made her think people were speaking about her behind her back.
She claims Tom later admitted he ‘would have picked her for all three but he thought it’d be boring’.

‘I genuinely think me and Tom calling it a day was the best thing that we could have done because we weren’t ever actually on the same page. Like a flame, we burned quick, and it was just more physical attraction.
‘The fact we weren’t each other’s types intrigued us to try and make a go of it, but ultimately it didn’t work out.’
In the challenge Tom chose her as the girl with the best body, while stating his perfect girl would have Olivia Hawkins’ face.
Zara also teased a return to the series, telling Capital Radio: ‘I don’t mind going back in for Casa Amor. I’d be up for it. I think it would be great, but that’s up…I wouldn’t say no.
‘Not at all. I mean, I need to find a man, don’t I? I want to find a man, but I don’t need a man.’
MailOnline has contacted Zara and Tom for comment, in relation to this article.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
