In the clip, Chantel made her bed and threw on a king-sized doona for her queen-sized bed to make it look more luxurious.

‘It’s a trick a lot of bedding brands use for their in-store displays!’ she wrote.

Next, she rolled the doona a third of the way down the bed and placed a throw blanked under the roll for added height.

These first two hacks already made the space look fluffier and lighter, as if she was staying in a hotel.

As for the pillows, place two at a time in the dryer with a rolled-up towel or tennis ball

Previously Chantel shared her simple four-step method for folding a fitted sheet in seconds, saying the ‘folding hack’ provides a ‘simple way to fold a fitted sheet’ without leaving a crumpled mess at the end.

‘Folding a fitted sheet saves space in storage and only takes 20 seconds. Let me know if you try this one at home,’ Chantel wrote alongside her video.

The first thing Mila said you need to do is place your sheet flat on a surface like your bed, with the elastic part facing upwards.

Smooth the sheet out so that you are starting with an entirely flat surface with the elastic facing inwards.

After this, it’s all about creating a ‘rectangle’ with your sheet.

Flip the bottom two corners and place them into the top two corners to create a rectangle,’ Mila explained.

You can do this by placing your hands inside the corners of the sheet and tucking them into the other two corners.

The third step in Mila’s four-step method is that you need to fold the two long sides inwards. This will create one long line of sheet.

Once the long sides have been folded inwards, then all you need to do is fold your two short sides inwards too.

This should create one neat rectangle ready to be stored inside your laundry or press.

Mila’s ‘bonus tip’ is that you can keep your fitted sheets inside a dust bag to keep them neat and fresh.

Simply slide the sheet into the bag and secure it with the drawstring to ensure your sheets are crisp when it comes to putting them on your bed.

1. When choosing your linen, opt for a doona / duvet one size larger than your mattress for a cosy feel. If you have a queen mattress, use a king doona. It’s a trick a lot of bedding brands use for their in-store displays!

2. Roll your doona 1/3 way down the bed and add a throw under the roll to add height

3. Place your pillows in the dryer with a rolled towel, or tennis ball, to give it a quick fluff
