Holly Willoughby has scolded her old nemesis Russell The Crow as he destroyed the This Morning sofa six years on from their first terrifying encounter.
On Wednesday morning, Holly and Phil welcomed Helen Motteram and her pet crow Russell after he recently had his eye removed, but the TV host did not enjoy the erratic nature of the bird and looked very on edge while Phil gave it a feed.
In their second run-in with one-another, Holly watched the crafty crow as he guzzled a chicken treat but quickly rubbed its beak on the sofa, much to her dismay.

After getting an update on Russell’s wellbeing, Philip asks if he can feed the animal and owner Helen says yes.
But Holly, who was initially sat closer to the crow than Philip, is not best pleased, and tells him: ‘Can you go over there to feed your new mate!’
As soon as Philip rises to get closer to Russell, Holly dashes off to the other end of the sofa to try and avoid being within its wingspan if it gets up and flies.
Russell makes a mess on the top of the sofa where he sits enjoying his Wednesday lunch.

Owner Helen, who is a pet behaviourist, brought her adopted rook onto the set of This Morning and left Holly quivering in fear – prompting viewers to label the moment the ‘best interview of the year’.
Helen, 39, from Cheltenham, took in the injured bird – nicknamed Russell Crow – after discovering him outside a Prezzo restaurant in the town in 2016.

As she was sharing the tale with the hosts on today’s show, the bird took flight and swooped towards Holly’s face, leaving her to cower behind Phillip Schofield.
Phillip had informed guests that a worried Holly had warned him if the bird came anywhere near her she would ‘do a Money’ – a reference to a previous show that week which saw a miniature pony named Money defecate on the studio floor.
Fortunately her fears proved unfounded – but Russell did end up relieving himself on the sofa beside his owner and her husband Tristan.

During the interview Holly appeared extremely uncomfortable with the animal in the studio and confessed she was ‘just battling on’ through.
Russell might not be popular with half of the This Morning hosting duo, but he is admired by his namesake, Hollywood actor Russell Crowe.
Russell Crowe is known for more than just his blockbuster films, he’s also recognised for his incredible generosity.

Helen had set up a crowdfunding page in a bid to raise money for Russell the crow’s eye surgery after it contracted a serious infection.
She surpassed her $2,650 (£1,500) target with the help of the film star’s generous donation of £500 late last month.
‘A Christmas Miracle happened today as Russell Crow was given amazing support by a very famous actor with a very similar name,’ Helen wrote via her Facebook page.
‘I honestly couldn’t believe it as I opened up my emails today and his campaign! It’s incredible.’
Health woes: It comes after Helen had set up a crowdfunding page late last year in a bid to raise money for Russell the crow’s eye surgery after it contracted a serious infection
‘We just pray for another miracle on the 29th that his surgery goes well.’
The crow’s surgery was ultimately a success, with an update shared to the bird’s Facebook page that read he had returned home ‘safely’.
As of Saturday, Helen has raised more than £2,200 which she says will go towards her other avians in need.

‘By helping to fund Russell’s surgery we can continue to fund our rescue which costs between £150 and £200 a week. Russell Crow is so truly grateful,’ she wrote in another Facebook post.
Actor Russell appeared to discover the crow of the same moniker in 2017 after a clip went viral in the UK.
‘Haha cool , what a nice lady Helen is to look after the poor blighter,’ he tweeted at the time.

Ham is a local feathered celebrity in Lancashire due to his cheeky antics, with the bird often spotted enjoying walks or car rides in the town.
The four-year-old Indian Runner Duck proved to be the perfect guest, sitting calmly and quietly until Holly offered him a cup of tea.
Having learned from his owner that Ham was a fan of a warm brew, Holly couldn’t resist offering up her mug.

Russell The Crow is a bird owned by Helen Motteram and despite the name, is actually a rook, not a crow.
Helen, 39, from Cheltenham, took in the injured bird – nicknamed Russell Crow – after discovering him outside a Prezzo restaurant in the town in 2016.
After being rescued and rehabilitated, the bird with a famous name is disabled and only has one eye after getting it removed following concerns of a tumour by vets.

He is named after the famous New Zealand-born Australian actor Russell Crowe, who actually coughed up a whopping £500 to fund his operation.
The actor first discovered the bird of the same moniker in 2017 after Russell (the crow) went on This Morning to meet hosts Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield.
Presenter Holly did not get on board with the bird in the studio as she cowered away from Russell as he clambered across the sofa to get up close to the TV star.
She held her head in her hands as she just waited for the segment to be over.
Russell re-appeared on the show for the second time in January 2023, following up from his surgery.
Philip wanted to give the bird a quick feed – and once again, Holly was not happy about it – and scolded him for wiping it’s beak on the sofa to clear up his own mess.
