Holly Willoughby oozes glamour in full-length pink ballgown as she gets ready to host Dancing On Ice

Holly Willoughby looked every inch the ice princess on Sunday, as she showed off her outfit choice for this week’s episode of Dancing On Ice.

The TV presenter, 42, looked effortlessly glamorous in a full-length pale pink ballgown.

The strapless number boasted stunning white lace embroidered flowers and pockets, while cinching her in a her svelte waist.

Holly styled her short blonde tresses down and sported a full face of stunning make-up to enhance her natural beauty. 

It comes after Holly  took to Instagram on Friday to share a beaming snap as she celebrated her 42nd birthday.

The This Morning host held a huge bouquet and was surrounded by a half a dozen or so gold balloons. 

Holly looked gorgeous with a light dusting of make-up and her blonde tresses styled loose. 

She captioned the snap: ‘It’s my BIRTHDAY!!! Thank you for all your kind wishes… what a beautiful day,’

‘The best birthday gift of glorious blue skies and sunshine… with a healthy side/slab of cake… hugest love H x’.

A whole host of famous friends rushed to congratulate the beauty on her big day with Phillip Schofield, 60, writing: ‘Happy happy birthday gorgeous, hope you have the best day’. 

Meanwhile actress pal Tamzin Outhwaite, 52, said: ‘Happy birthday to this beauty, have a gorgeous day Hol’. 

Spice Girl Emma Bunton marked the occasion with a slew of snaps of her and Holly writing: ‘Happy Birthday gorgeous girl’. 

Commenting on her snap Kate Ferdinand said: ‘Happy birthday darling! Hope you have the best day’.

Holly started the celebrations early as she partied with her This Morning team on Thursday. 

The presenter looked delighted as she was surprised with champagne and cake in the closing moments of the show. 

After Loose Women‘s Charlene White wished Holly happy birthday, Phillip Schofiled feigned shock as he asked: ‘Oh my goodness is it your birthday?’

Beaming he added: ‘Thank goodness we saved a minute and a quarter [left on the show] for something up our sleeve,’ as balloons descended from the ceiling and the This Morning team walked out with glasses of champagne. 

Juliet Sear then walked out with a homemade cake as Holly exclaimed: ‘That has got so much butter icing on it – which is what I love!’ 

As the whole team gathered to pass on their well wishes, Holly admitted: ‘I’m getting to that age now where I’m actually forgetting how old I am – 42 tomorrow.’

To which Phillip quipped: ‘Oh my heart bleeds for you!

‘Have a lovely day and a big celebration. Happy birthday, gorgeous!’
