What football? Hilarious moment two men catch sight of Miss Croatia and quickly reach for their phones for a sly photo (and even the boy with them has a look!)
- Knoll, 30, shared an Instagram post to celebrate gaining one million followers
- It contained a photo of the football fans admiring her outfit and taking pictures
- The model also made headlines with her appearance at a game against Morocco
After turning a few heads for her country’s opening World Cup game with Morocco, former Miss Croatia Ivana Knoll has taken to social media to gently mock a group of men who were caught taking pictures of her.
Knoll, 30, a model and designer, was labelled World Cup’s sexiest fan, having sauntered around Qatar in a G-string swimsuit, violating a few local customs along the way.
In her most recent Instagram post to celebrate gaining one million followers, she included a photo of a couple of men catching a quick peek of her in a red-and-white checked bikini top and tight red leggings and taking photos.
The post was captioned: ‘1000000 followers, thank you so much for your support. Love you all!’

Knoll’s followers were quick to draw attention to the actions of the men in the photos.
‘That’s it, the guy is caught. The wife is waiting at home with a hammer!’ one commented.
Another wrote: ‘Full Support For Croatia.’
Although most Instagram users were very complimentary about her post, some pointed out that the outfit was not quite in fitting with Qatar’s customs.
Qatar has enforced strict rules around clothing for the World Cup.
Visitors have been advised to cover their shoulders and avoid short skirts.
There are high fines and even jail sentences for fans who flash their figures.

Commenting on the potential culture clash, Knoll said: ‘First I was thinking if the World Cup is happening there (Qatar), for sure they will allow us everything to make it comfortable for all fans without any of the restrictions.
‘Then I heard about the rules and I was shocked. The dress code forbids showing shoulders, knees, belly and everything and I was like, “Oh my God, I don’t even have the clothes to cover all of that.”
‘I was super angry because if I’m not a Muslim and if we in Europe respect hijab and niqab, I think they need also to respect our way of life, our religion and in the end me wearing dresses, bikinis because I’m Catholic from Croatia who is here because of the World Cup.’
She added: ‘But when I arrived I was surprised they were not making any problems about dressing, they allow you to wear everything what you want – except in government buildings, and in the end that’s fine.’
When asked if she felt that there was any risk of her being arrested, Knoll said: ‘I am never afraid of something like that.’
Knoll hit the headlines in 2018 for her choice of outfits at the World Cup in Russia.
The model turned plenty of heads in her country’s first football match of the World Cup.
As she headed to the Al-Bayat stadium for the game against Morocco, the Croatian beauty wore a plunging red and white checkerboard dress.
Knoll also shared a racy video of her parading along a waterway in Qatar wearing even less on Instagram, with the caption: ‘watch me tomorrow 17h [German tabloid television show] Taff show on @prosieben’.
Several of Knoll’s posts last week also tagged FIFA – which has reiterated Qatar’s strict rules regarding clothing.
Croatia is set to play Japan this Monday, kicking off at 3pm GMT, as the country battles it out in the last 16.
