Hero security guard protects teenager set upon by machete-wielding thugs outside of school

This is the moment a heroic security guard rescued a teenager from machete-wielding thugs who targeted him in a brazen daylight attack. 

Distressing footage of the incident has since circulated on social media, showing how terrified kids and their parents were forced to watch on as the attack took place.

One member of security wearing a yellow hi-vis rushed to the aid of the teenage victim, knocking one of the assailants out of the way in the process.

In the vision, first shared by The Sun, one of the attackers held a machete as he and his group kicked, hit and punched a boy in school uniform, who was already on the ground.

Even as the security guard put his body on the line to protect the victim, more assailants came forward and tried to stomp on him.

Pupils and onlookers screamed and cried as the incident took place.

On girl said ‘they’re beating the sh** out of him’ as the assault, which occurred in Walsall, Staffs, took place.

The heroic actions of the member of security – who has not been named – have attracted widespread praise online.

‘The man who ran towards the danger head on deserves to be praised for his act of bravery,’ one person said.

Another added: ‘He saved the person from being murdered outside the school.

‘It’s bloody scary thing to happen especially outside a secondary school in the first place.’

After the hero stepped in, the group of thugs began running away from the victim. 

A second man, also wearing hi-vis, also rushed toward the group as they started to flee.
