‘A bit revealing for January!’ Helen George slammed by The One Show viewers for ‘inappropriate’ plunging jumpsuit during guest appearance
Helen George was slammed by The One Show viewers for her ‘inappropriate’ outfit during her appearance on Wednesday’s show.
The Call The Midwife actress, 38, looked incredible in a plunging black jumpsuit, but some fans argued it was ‘a bit revealing for January.’
Joining her costar Laura Main, she sat down to celebrate 12 years of the BBC period drama and their experience on the show.

Viewers at home shared their thoughts on Twitter with some saying that Helen looked ‘stunning’ and others disagreeing.
One person penned: ‘Sorry Helen you look inappropriately dressed. Everyone else is wearing jumpers and long sleeves!’
Another added: ‘I’ve never seen anyone more inappropriately dressed on the TV.’

It comes after Helen admitted that she ‘didn’t know’ any of Elton John‘s music when she worked as a backing singer for him.
The actress revealed that she was scouted for the opportunity while studying musical theatre at the Royal Academy of Music in 2005.
The Rocketman hitmaker studied at the same school when he was aged 11.

But despite the huge opportunity, Helen, who was 21 at the time, said she ‘didn’t appreciate’ being on tour with the star and simply had a ‘brilliant time’.
Speaking to Tom Allen on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky, Helen shared: ‘[Elton] went to Royal Academy of Music, and I trained at the Royal Academy of Music and he took some of the singers and musicians on tour with him.
‘It was very kind of him and I was like 21, didn’t know Elton John’s music and didn’t really appreciate it, and just had this brilliant time.
‘Now I look back and think, why didn’t I fangirl over him? He was amazing and now I listen to his music religiously.’
