TV presenter Hamish Blake is back behind the wheel of his $120,000 Land Rover Defender which was stolen during a break-in last year.
The father of two, 40, who is married to beauty entrepreneur Zoë Foster Blake, was seen driving the luxury vehicle around Sydney on Wednesday, a day before he spoke about the incident for the first time in a radio interview.
He claimed on The Kyle and Jackie O Show the alleged thief had managed to break into his four-bedroom home in Woollahra, in Sydney’s east, which he and Zoë were renting for $5,000 a week while their other $9million home in Vaucluse was being renovated.
‘It was just someone walking up and down the street who managed to get into that back door and took the handbag that had the [car] keys in it,’ Hamish explained.
