He continued: ‘You are a powerful force that holds this entire family up. People glow in your presence. You sacrifice so much for others, and we are the lucky benefactors of that sacrifice.

‘You’re warm, loving, funny, exciting, brave, encouraging, a champion in our corner and always ALWAYS the first one there to help. We couldn’t do life without you.

‘You lift us up to all be better and we are all so thankful to have you. We never say it enough but I hope you feel it today when Sailor, Scout, Sunday and I all scream out how much we APPRECIATE EVERYTHING you do. We love you so much.’

The Gold Logie Award winner went on to say he could ‘always rely’ on Chezzi ‘through thick and thin, for better or worse’.

He thanked her for supporting him after he broke his back during a horrific monster truck crash in 2008 which left him addicted to painkillers, before hailing her as ‘the glue that binds this beautiful family together’.

‘The fact I’m in Los Angeles now for work, is another example how you sacrifice so much, including your birthday, so we can thrive,’ he said.

‘We love you. I love you. Happy birthday babe. Get a wine in ya and chase the kids around the house doing the ‘boobie slap’ that makes us all laugh hysterically. May the show never end xox.’

During his stint on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia, Grant revealed he fell in love with now-wife Chezzi when she was still married to someone else.

Discussing how the pair met, the former Family Feud host told his campmates: ‘She worked on Sunrise. She was my producer. We didn’t like each other. We hated each other. She was really pushy. And I was pretty arrogant, so we didn’t like one another at all.’

Grant said that despite the acrimony, the pair then shared a magic moment which ignited their explosive chemistry.

‘And then one day… It was so weird. One day we just brushed hands. And I just felt a tingle from my head to my toe. Just this massive feeling. I was like, “I can’t live without this woman.”‘

The couple got married in 2010 and now share three daughters, Sailor, 10, Scout, six and Sunday, one.
