It’s Gold Cup day at Cheltenham, and eager revellers – including Zara Tindall and Jade Holland Cooper – were determined to go all out, donning extravagant ensembles to witness the festival’s spectacular grand finale.
Feathers and tweed were the order of the day, with many opting for chic tartan suits and fur-lined coats to keep out the early Spring chill, while others opted for St. Patrick’s Day themed costumes.Â
The Gold Cup is the jewel in the crown of jump racing, and racegoers ensured they stood out from the crowd for the popular event by wearing gorgeous country chic looks or bright green outfits to celebrate March 17th.
The historic society event, which dates back to the early 19th century, has unveiled a new ‘inclusive’ dress code this year, which organisers hope will make spectators feel ‘confident and at-ease’ for their visit.
But despite dresses, heels and hats no longer being mandatory, glamourous guests have still opted to pull out all the fashion stops for the annual event.

Celebrities arriving at the event included Nick Knowles, 60, and his glamorous girlfriend Katie Dadzie, 32, who opted for a colourful check blazer and shorts, teamed with thigh-high boots.
Elsewhere, Jade Holland Cooper posed up a storm with her Superdry husband Julian Dunkerton at the racing event.
The British fashion designer showcased her style prowess in a pink houndstooth longline coat and matching trousers.
She teamed the vibrant outfit with a tan belt and coordinating boots, while sporting a stylish pair of sunglasses.Â
Meanwhile, Princess Anne‘s daughter, 41, and her rugby ace husband, 44, were all smiles as they stopped for photographs upon their arrival at the historic racing event.
The couple looked typically stylish with mother-of-three Zara opting for a longline coat from Laura Green which she paired with a vibrant pink hat from Juliette Botterill.Â
She completed her simple yet elegant look with a pair of black boots from Stuart Weitzman and a dazzling set of earrings from Laurence Coste.

This year’s official dress code for the festival, posted on the event’s website, outlines exactly what racegoers should consider when choosing an outfit.Â
It reads: ‘For some, wearing a nice sweatshirt, pair of jeans and clean trainers is what makes them feel confident and at-ease. For others, they might prefer to turn heads with a sharp suit or glamorous dress and high heels, particularly for one of our big race meetings.
‘But whatever your tastes, the most important thing when choosing your outfit is, of course, comfort and confidence. So wear what feels right for you and will keep you feeling your best from start to finish, whatever the weather.’
