Their on-screen chemistry is undeniable, and in the two years since T.J. Holmes joined Amy Robach on Good Morning America’s lunchtime segment GMA3, the co-hosts have been open about their blossoming friendship.
But now, DailyMail.com can reveal that, for the past six months, the married co-hosts have been sharing much more than a mutual love of running and the great-outdoors.
In fact, they have been locked in a passionate romance despite both being married to their respective spouses for the past 12 years.
A series of pictures obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, tells the tale of their steamy relationship as the couple enjoy flirty post-filming sessions at a New York City bar, alone time in each other’s apartments, and – two weeks before Thanksgiving – a weekend away in a secluded cottage in Upstate New York.

Good Morning America co-hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach spent a weekend shacked up in a cozy cottage in the Shawangunk Mountain region, checking out of their rental on Sunday November 13. Holmes was seen giving his lover a playful squeeze from behind as she packed up the car
DailyMail.com can reveal Holmes and Robach’s friendly relationship on air has evolved into a full blown secret romance off-screen, in recent months. The two are pictured having flirty post-filming drinks at a New York City bar on Thursday November 10
Nov 10: The two co-anchors, whose on-screen chemistry has captivated audiences since they joined GMA’s third hour in 2020, can be seen laughing and cozying up to each other at the pub after a morning of filming
Nov 10: After a flirty rendezvous at O’Donoghue’s Irish bar in Times Square, Holmes and Robach, who are both married, were later seen walking out of the pub separately, keeping a safe 20 feet apart as they waited for their ride outside
Nov 10: The two then came together again as their Uber arrived and then headed towards Holmes’s apartment in lower Manhattan in the black SUV
The pair looked every inch the lovey-dovey couple once again days later on November 17, when Holmes met his co-star at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York after work
The ABC co-hosts then took an Uber ride together down to Robach’s apartment in the West Village
The secret lovers did not spend Thanksgiving together, but wasted no time reuniting after the holiday on Monday, when they were snapped traveling back and forth between each other’s apartments in Manhattan
Later that afternoon, the couple were caught in a rare PDA moment as they held hands in the back of an Uber while heading to Robach’s apartment
Inside sources told DailyMail.com: ‘Everyone knows that Amy and T.J. have been close friends for a long time now, running together and even socializing as a foursome with each other’s spouses.’
Photographs posted on 49-year-old Robach’s Instagram as recently as March show Holmes, 45, with his arm casually draped on her husband Andrew Shue’s shoulder, with both men apparently firmly part of Robach’s, ‘half marathon posse.’
According to insiders, T.J. and Amy’s friendship evolved in June, if not before, ‘when they were in London together filming the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee for ABC and staff were all over each other and staff were buzzing about the intimacy between them.’
Photos shared on social media by both Robach and Holmes at the time showed the closeness between them as they covered the celebration.
And just this month, the co-stars – who share a love of running and fitness – even ran the New York City Marathon together, with Robach posting a series of pictures of the two lovers heading towards the finish line alongside each other.
Up until now, Robach and Holmes’s friendship on and off the screen always appeared to be close but platonic, ever since the two began anchoring GMA 3 in 2020 and hit it off.
Both Holmes and Robach have been married to their respective spouses since 2010. It is not known when or how Holmes’s wife, 44-year-old attorney, Marilee Fiebig, (pictured together in 2012) and Robach’s husband, former Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue, 55, (pictured right in March 2022) learned of the romance, but both couples are said to have split up in August this year
The day before they set off for a romantic weekend away upstate, Robach and Holmes were found deep in conversation in a cozy corner of O’Donoghue’s Irish bar in Times Square
According to an eyewitness, the two appeared ‘totally into each other’ and Robach was seen giggling at what Holmes was saying as they each enjoyed pints of Stella Artois beers
Holmes was seen giving his lover a flirty smile as they left the pub after having some afternoon drinks
While T.J. and Amy initially seemed determined not to be seen together by standing 20 feet apart from each other, the two eventually came together as their ride arrived and headed to his apartment
And while their chemistry is evident on air, the friendly TV presenters have also expressed support for each other as colleagues on social media, often sharing endearing posts with each other as well as photos together from behind the scenes of the show.
Some posts, however, appear to have some flirtatious undertones hinting at their secret romance in recent months, such as one photo from July showing Robach and Holmes both wearing pink that she captioned: ‘T.J. just loves it when we match [twin emoji].’
Earlier this year in March, Holmes also shared an Instagram photo posing alongside Robach and President of ABC News Kim Godwin with a cheeky caption reading: ‘Yep, head of ABC News had to fly all the way to LA to make sure we were behaving.’
Godwin is said to be aware of the relationship, according to inside sources. However since DailyMail.com broke the story Godwin is publicly staying she did not know about it.
DailyMail.com can also reveal Robach has now restricted comments on her Instagram account after eagle-eyed users began pointing out her missing wedding ring and her absent husband.
It is not known when or how Holmes’s wife 44-year-old attorney, Marilee Fiebig, and Robach’s husband, former Melrose Place actor Shue, 55, learned of the romance, but both couples went their separate ways in August this year, according to sources.
While the secret may be out as far as their spouses are concerned, Robach and Holmes are still at pains to keep their relationship hush hush.
Just this month, Robach and Holmes, both avid runners and fitness lovers, ran the New York City Marathon together – which the 49-year-old mom-of-two has previously run with her husband
Photographs posted on Robach’s Instagram as recently as March show Holmes, 45, with his arm casually draped on her husband Andrew Shue’s shoulder, with both men apparently firmly part of Robach’s, ‘half marathon posse’
In June this year, Robach also shared photos of the two co-hosts covering the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee for GMA together in London, where their romance is believed to have first blossomed
Since they began anchoring GMA 3 in 2020, the two hosts have always been known to have a close friendship off-screen, with both often sharing photos together from ABC’s studio on Instagram
Robach included a flirty caption with the photo, reading: ‘T.J. just loves it when we match’
In an interesting twist, Robach recently limited comments on her Instagram posts after users began pointing out her missing wedding ring and asking about her husband. Above, Robach’s wedding finger is visibly bare in a November 5 photo (right) and in her latest photo on Thanksgiving (left)
Curious, eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out husband Andrew’s absence in Robach’s recent Instagram posts
Thursday afternoon on November 10 – just a day before their romantic weekend away – the two were found deep in conversation in a cozy corner of O’Donoghue’s Irish bar in Times Square.
Earlier they had finished pre-recording their daily segment, quickly separating as they exited ABC studios and walking alone to the dimly lit watering hole where they reconnected in a corner far from the bar.
An eyewitness told DailyMail.com: ‘They were totally into each other. She was giggling at whatever he was saying, and they were looking at each other’s phones. At one point she was kind of dancing in her chair to the music and laughing so hard she practically fell into his lap.’
The couple were briefly joined by a male friend who left after a quick lunch allowing them to return to their drinks a deux.
On leaving, the lovers were once again determined not to appear to be together, with Robach standing about 20 feet away from Holmes on the sidewalk as he called for an Uber.
Holmes and Robach were seen arriving at his apartment building in Manhattan’s financial district later that Thursday

The GMA host was dressed down but went to work prepared for the couple’s weekend getaway in the Shawangunk Mountain region
She giggled when the Uber arrived and joined Holmes on the quick ride to his downtown apartment, from which Robach was not seen leaving.
The following day Holmes could be seen leaving his apartment with a backpack and a duffle, and after a morning filming, heading to a West Village restaurant near Robach’s apartment.
He enjoyed a beer at the bar of The Clam seafood restaurant and sat alone with his weekend bags packed and by his side.
Moments later he walked around the corner, repeatedly glancing over his shoulder, before heading up the block to where Robach was waiting to pick him up in her blue BMW convertible.
He and Robach made the two-hour drive north of the city to Shawangunk Mountains where they checked into a remote and charming stone and wood paneled cottage, on the edge of Minnewaska State Park.
Surrounded by trees, the cottage boasts a hike to a private waterfall and is 15 minutes from ‘two fabulous wineries and distilleries.’
But Robach and Holmes seemed to have no interest in enjoying any attractions beyond their own front door.
After a morning filming on November 11, Holmes was dropped off at The Clam, a West Village restaurant near Robach’s apartment where he enjoyed a beer and sat alone with his weekend bags packed and by his side
Shortly after, Robach was seen picking him up for their weekend getaway. It appeared the two were at pains to not be seen together before their trip, as Holmes left the restaurant and walked up the block, where Robach was waiting for him in her blue BMW convertible

The loved-up couple holed up in the cute cottage, having brought in food to cook and wine and beer to enjoy during their stay. A fire roared in the hearth all weekend.
When it came time to leave, they took their time carrying the remaining wine and groceries and their weekend bags from the cottage into the car.
Both were dressed casually. T.J. wore black sweats and sneakers. Robach pulled her hair into a tight top knot.
Wearing a jean jacket and scarf, she completed her look with Ugg boots and jeans so skinny that Holmes couldn’t resist cheekily grabbing and patting her butt each time he passed where she bent over to load her belongings into the trunk of her car.
Back at work, during a November 16 segment featuring Softies robes, Robach referenced Holmes’s love for the dressing gowns amid his absence.
While admiring the ‘marshmallow’ texture and contrasting collar and cuffs, GMA contributor Tory Johnson said: ‘I wish T.J. was here.’
Robach then blurted out: ‘He loves his robes,’ before adding: ‘He walks around the hallways with them’

The following day, Thursday November 17, it was Holmes who was thinking about Robach as she was absent from her usual seat alongside him.
He reassured the audience that she would be back at the start of the week, then headed to NYU Langone to meet her directly after filming ended.
He was seen leaving with Robach and her best friend who later walked Robach’s golden doodle Brody while Holmes stayed in Robach’s apartment with her.
Robach is a cancer survivor who publicly spoke about her diagnosis with Stage 2 breast cancer in 2013 at the age of 40.
She credited co-host Robin Roberts, herself a survivor of the disease, with saving her life by convincing her to get a mammogram.
Robach was back in her seat as promised the following week leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Both Robach and Holmes married their respective spouses in 2010 and both have blended families.

Holmes has a nine-year-old daughter with his current wife and another daughter and son from a previous relationship.
Robach has two daughters from her first marriage, while her husband Shue has three sons.
Robach and Shue even wrote a children’s book together about blending their families.
‘Better Together’ was published just last year and features the Squirrely and the McMunk families joining together.
Speaking at the time, Robach shared how ‘easily’ she and Shue had worked together, finishing the initial story in just one night and talked about the importance of ‘love, adventure, curiosity and an open mind and heart’ in making a marriage and parenting a blended family work.
Similarly, Holmes has posted gushing tributes to his wife, Marilee on Instagram.
The flirty rendezvous between the couple continued after Thanksgiving weekend, with Holmes’s snapped arriving at Robach’s apartment on Monday after leaving the GMA studios
The two left her apartment later that morning and got a black Mercedes Uber over to Holmes’s apartment in the Financial District

In a post marking their tenth anniversary he wrote: ‘This particular #decadechallenge is a little late but…10 years ago, Marilee Fiebig married me. And despite my best efforts she remained married to me the past 10 years. That’s not hyperbole. I’m not being dramatic. I gave her plenty of reasons, excuses and opportunities to walk her fine ass out of the doooooooor. [sic] But instead, with her built-in black woman superpower, she showed a grace and patience that’s incomprehensible.’
The last post of Holmes on his wife’s Instagram was on August 19 when she posted an image of him being hugged by his daughter, in front of a birthday cake. In her post she wished him happy 45th birthday.
Shue’s last appearance on his wife’s Instagram account was a few weeks earlier on July 30 when she posted from a holiday together in Greece.
By the time August was through, the secret was out and the marital façades were shattered with Holmes moving to his own apartment and Shue moving out of his and Amy’s.
Holmes wasted no time reuniting with Robach after Thanksgiving – a holiday the lovers did not spend together.
Holmes has posted gushing tributes to his wife, Marilee on Instagram in the past, and praised her ‘grace and patience’ in one touching post marking the couple’s tenth wedding anniversary in March 2020

Because back in the city, at work and in what has become their ‘business as usual’ routine, Holmes’s first port of call after filming wrapped Monday, was Robach and her apartment in the West Village.
Robach had arrived 15 minutes ahead of Holmes. She wore jeans, a chic black leather jacket and rainbow Ugg boots.
They emerged together after almost three hours and an outfit change for Robach, who was now more casually dressed in sweats, a red puffer jacket and those rainbow Uggs.
The pair then took an Uber to Holmes’s place. They held hands in the back of the car, their fingers intertwined as they headed to his apartment, clearly delighted to be together again and unwilling to let go of each other after even so few days apart.
Holmes’s wife Marilee declined to comment when contacted by DailyMail.com. Robach’s husband Shue did not respond to requests for comment.
