Gisele Bündchen ‘secretly bought $11.5 million mansion directly across the pond from Tom Brady’s home’ in Tampa Bay BEFORE couple finalized their divorce

Gisele Bündchen has reportedly bought an $11.5 million mansion directly across the waterway from Tom Brady‘s home last month before the couple finalized their divorce, it’s been claimed.

Bündchen closed on the five-bedroom, 6,600-square-foot Miami Beach mansion on October 6, Page Six exclusively learned.

The mansion appears to be almost directly across the waterway from her now ex-husband Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay home, which is under construction on Indian Creek Island.

Bündchen first viewed the mansion on August 16, just days before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback took an 11-day break from playing in the NFL, a source told Page Six. The break was a last attempt to save the relationship, it was reported.

But on October 28, the couple finalized their divorce, ending the 13-year marriage.

‘Gisele was actively looking at homes in Miami Beach even before Tom took his break from the NFL, which indicates that she was already done with the marriage and moving on,’ the source revealed.

Gisele’s reported new digs are in Surfside while Tom’s mansion is on the waterfront of Biscayne Bay.

‘You could literally swim from Gisele’s place to Tom’s — not that they would — but both homes will include a dock, so it would be very easy for them to co-parent their children while living so close to each other,’ the source added.

The property listing for Gisele’s home details soaring 25-foot ceilings, a home theater, gym, several terraces and views of the waterway and Indian Creek Island.

Brady and Bündchen posted statements on Instagram about the divorce, each saying they had ‘amicably’ reached the decision.

‘The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always,’ Bündchen wrote.

Both said their priorities lay with their children and asked for privacy.

‘We arrived at this decision to end our marriage after much consideration,’ Brady wrote. ‘Doing so is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing every day around the world.’

The divorce landed in the midst of Brady’s 23rd NFL season, and amid his first three-game losing streak in 20 years, just months after the seven-time Super Bowl champion put an end to his short-lived retirement.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback — who had long stated a desire to spend more time with Bündchen and his three children — announced his departure from the game in February, only to change his mind 40 days later.

‘What more do you have to prove?’ Bündchen told her husband on the sidelines after his last, record-shattering Super Bowl victory, as Brady himself recounted shortly after the win.

Despite Brady initially saying his retirement was a chance to focus his ‘time and energy on other things that require my attention,’ part of his motivation to come back was what he has referred to as ‘unfinished business’ with the Buccaneers. The team failed to reach the Super Bowl last season in their effort to repeat as champions.
