Gia Giudice SLAMS ‘opportunist’ Joe Gorga for sharing shot with her dad Joe Giudice

Teresa Giudice’s daughter Gia let rip at her uncle Joe Gorga via social media Sunday, calling him an ‘opportunist’ for posing with her father Joe Giudice after years of badmouthing him.

The family feud came to light Sunday evening after Gorga, 43, ran into his one-time brother-in-law during a weekend getaway to the Bahamas, where Joe, 50, has been residing as of late.

In a clip Gorga posted to his page, he was seen in a hug with Joe, with both men smiling, at what appeared to be an island resort.

‘Both walked into the same bar at the same time,’ Gorga said. ‘A lot of history there. We have memories since we were kids. I’m happy he’s doing well and looks good. We were both happy to see each other and catch up.’

Gorga said that the meeting was by chance and that he was ‘glad someone caught it.’

Family feud: Gia Giudice, 22, held little back while speaking with her uncle Joe Gorga, 43, via social media Sunday, calling him an ‘opportunist’ for posing with her father Joe Giudice, 50, after years of badmouthing him

The sentimental tone in Gorga’s post did not sway Gia, 22, who said that the exchange was her uncle’s attempt at getting social media attention, and using her father to do it.

‘This is honestly comical,’ Gia, who is a senior at Rutgers University, said in a response to Gorga’s clip. ‘Knowing you were with him for not even 5 minutes and we’re able to have somebody take a video of the interaction meanwhile all you have done is talked so poorly about my father.’

Gia told her uncle that he was ‘such a opportunist to take advantage of the once in a lifetime opportunity to see my father and use it for a post.’

Gorga fired back in the comments, ‘We both said horrible things about each other. It was a nice moment. We have a lot of history.’

He wrapped up in urging Gia, ‘Get the hate out of your heart.’

Gia was not the only one to question Gorga’s camaraderie with Joe Giudice after years of enmity documented on the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Said one user: ‘I’m confused … didn’t Joe Gorga cry on national television that he hated Joe Guidice and blamed him for the death of his mother? Am I the only one who doesn’t get what’s happening here?’

Another said to Gorga, ‘U just called him a bad seed in last episode… so confused.’

Gorga responded to the user that was ‘the point’ in the reunion, acknowledging, ‘We’ve said terrible things about each other … but when we saw each other it didn’t matter.’

Another user suggested the unexpected clip was just to create fodder for the Bravo series, saying, ‘Tell me you need a storyline without telling me you need a storyline.’

Gia confirmed to BravoTV.com earlier this year that her father has been ‘doing really well’ in recent years, Page Six reported.

Joe was deported out of the U.S. in October 2019 to his native Italy after a 41-month stint in prison, and further time at an ICE facility, following his 2014 fraud conviction.

‘He’s working with a construction company right now in the Bahamas,’ Gia said, adding, ‘We’re very happy for him.’

Gia told the outlet that her father’s longtime ordeal has inspired her to pursue a career in immigration law.

‘I’m in my final year at Rutgers University, and after I graduate, I am pursuing my dream of going to law school,’ she told BravoTV.com earlier this year.

Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in May of 2021, she said her parents’ past legal troubles had a major impact on her.

‘Their whole experience influenced me, honestly, for the better – I just want to help families and be able to be there for families and help children, honestly, especially,’ she said.
