Great British Bake Off viewers were left baffled on Tuesday night when one of Janusz’s spring rolls appeared to go missing during the technical challenge.

During pastry week, the bakers had to make eight spring rolls in an hour and 20 minutes – but as judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood came to Janusz’s offering they realised there were only seven.

Along with the fans watching at home, Janusz was immediately confused, having thought he’d made the right amount, as Paul questioned: ‘Where’s the eighth?’
