‘I’m still full of cold’: Carol Vorderman poses up in skintight leather trousers as she pulls out of hosting her radio show and gives fans an update on her health amid flu battle

Carol Vorderman gave fans an update on her health on Saturday, as she battles the flu. 

The presenter, 61, said in a video that she is ‘still full of cold’ and had to pull out of hosting her radio show on the weekend, but is feeling a little better. 

Carol said that she finally got up and did her makeup for the first time in days and was going for a walk to get some fresh air, clad in skintight leather trousers.

‘I’m still full of cold and I cannot sing! I had a laugh this morning with [daughter] Katie, anyway just to say I won’t be on the Radio Wales show,’ she began in one clip, in between coughing.

‘I still haven’t washed my hair but I’ve put makeup on that’s hiding a multitude of pain and things… have a good Saturday,’ she added.

She was also seen posing up for a mirror selfie wearing her skintight leather trousers and in a video, seen kicking leaves in a park after getting a little burst of energy.

Carol captioned her Instagram post: ‘Found a child to drag out and look after me on a quick amble… Katie was that lucky child.’

‘Not well enough for radio show today sadly… anyway, pretty hot on the leaf kicking! (You’re c**p Vorderman).’

It comes after Carol was forced to pull out of her scheduled appearance on This Morning on Friday. 

Sharing with her fans how she’s feeling in an Instagram video, Carol admitted she felt ‘rough’ before suffering with a coughing fit. 

Speaking into the camera Carol – who went make-up free and wore a white robe – said: ‘Well, I’m four days into the flu thing. Oh God, I feel rough.

‘I look it. I haven’t brushed my hair in four days though, so excuse that. Anyway, thank you for all your lovely messages.’

She went on: ‘Sorry, I won’t be on This Morning this morning

‘I was looking forward to it as well. Date Busters! Eh, it better be soon. I need a cup of tea.’

Before falling ill, Carol showed her support for the Welsh Rugby team ahead of their clash against Australia on Saturday.
