‘Thankfully we didn’t all become really serious people,’ Florence said. ‘We were shooting on the top of mountains for months and weeks, and it was so windy and all four seasons in one day. And whenever you would work with the animals on the mountain, they are also like ”Why are we on a mountain?”’

Florence, who a floral red dress and black pumps, described one take when she was walking with a horse.

‘The horse just turned around sideways and was like ‘nope not walking anymore,’ Florence said. ‘Then I had a sheep run into me and I face planted in mud.’

Florence described another instance where she had a simple scene and only needed to walk across the road and around 50 to 60 people from the neighboring villages were standing by recording with their cell phones.

‘As I was walking past this sheep, the sheep wouldn’t move out of the way,’ Florence said.

She said she gently patted the sheep to move but it upset the sheep and another sheep then ran into her.

‘I flipped over the sheep and went straight down into like cowpat. It was full on mood, it was great,’ Florence said. ‘Actually there was a photographer there and instantly the next day it was on the Daily Mail. Like ”Sheep Got Better of Flo”.’

‘Thanks for that,’ she said with a laugh.

She also revealed that her secret to relaxing while filming involved The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.

Florence told Seth that while she loved doing costume period movies to take a break from the seriousness of the movie, she would make plans with her assistant Jesse to watch the Bravo reality show.

‘I’d be in the mountains with all these things, and we would basically be plotting when we were going to get home and watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ Florence said. ‘We would have our G & T with our little crackers.’

Florence also shared how she ended up bringing her grandmother to her first red carpet in Venice.

‘It was huge,’ Florence said. ‘I’ve never been on a carpet that big, maybe Baftas or Oscars but Venice was so massive. Gran came on and got addicted to it. Fully got addicted to it.’

Florence said bringing her grandmother to the premiere actually started for a sad reason.

‘She wasn’t going to renew her passport because she was like ”well I’m not going to travel before I die”,’ Florence said. ‘I was like that is so bleak and of course you are, you are an adventurer. We’ve got to do this.’

Florence said she invited her grandmother to the premiere in Venice and she renewed her passport. Florence said originally that the plan wasn’t for grandmother to go on the red carpet with her.

‘My whole family came and as I finished the carpet, I turned around and Gran was in front of all these shouting photographers just standing there,’ Florence said. ‘I said ”do you want to come with me?” And she said ”oh all right then”.’

Florence said they then both marched over to the photographers.

‘I suddenly hear all these people screaming from behind and I thought they were being rude to Gran so I was about to turn around and tell some people off and when I turned around the whole wall of photographers behind me were all like ”no we want pictures!”,’ Florence said. ‘My gran then started pirouetting…it was amazing.’

Seth then showed photos of Florence with her Gran at the premiere. Florence said she then asked her grandmother if she wanted to do it again.

‘She said ”I think I should”,’ Florence said.

Florence said she then came with her to the premiere of The Wonder in Ireland. Seth asked her about calling her ‘Gran-zo.’

‘Gran-zo, Gran-villa,’ Florence said. ‘Granny-Paps.’

Florence said during the recent premiere in Dublin that a fan came up to her and asked if her grandmother was there because she made her a purse.

‘She gets fan gifts and everything,’ Florence said

Seth asked her if she was going to celebrate Thanksgiving and she said she would.

‘I’ve done the last three years and two I’ve cooked, this year I’m going to semi-cook,’ Florence said. ‘I’m not going to say I’m cooking but I’m going to be there if anybody needs me with a pan.’

Florence said for her Thanksgiving she puts a twist on it and doesn’t do ‘all the bits and bobs.’

‘Like why are there sweet potatoes with the marshmallows? That’s weird,’ Florence said.

‘A lot of it’s awful,’ Seth said. ‘There are some terrible mistakes we made years ago and now we are living with them.’

‘I make a really good roast, I just don’t do all the bits and bobs,’ Florence said.
