Final tragic videos of Idaho murder victims dancing and joking in party house where they were butchered… as dog that survived the attack is shown for the first time and cops continue to scratch their heads

  • New videos show murdered Idaho students playfully singing, dancing and celebrating Halloween
  • The videos were mostly filmed inside the party house where three of the five girls who lived there were killed
  • Kaylee Goncalves, Maddie Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Xana’s boyfriend Ethan Chapin were all killed
  • They were brutally stabbed multiple times with a ‘long knife’ then left to ‘bleed out’ in their home
  • Dylan Mortensen and Bethany Funke, the two other roommates, survived the horrific murders unharmed
  • Kaylee’s dog, Murphy, was also in the house at the time of the killings but the animal was unharmed

DailyMail.com can reveal tragic final videos of the four murdered Idaho students dancing together in their shared house, singing and celebrating Halloween, just days before they were butchered in a horrifying quadruple attack that continues to stump police.

The videos were filmed inside their shared home in Moscow, where a killer stabbed three of the five roommates in the home to death and also killed one of the girls’ boyfriends on November 13.

Featured in the footage is Murphy, the small dog shared by Kaylee Goncalves and her ex-boyfriend.

On Monday night, Moscow police revealed that Murphy survived the attack and is now being cared for by a ‘responsible’ person. The police department has been slammed for its poor handling of the case.

Murphy appears in the videos along with Kaylee and fellow victims Maddie Mogen and Xana Kernodle.

The girls lived a blissfully happy college life in Moscow, sharing a six-bedroom house with Dylan Mortensen and Bethany Funke, who both survived the killings on November 13.

In some of their final weeks on campus, the girls – who were known for hosting parties – are shown dancing in Halloween costumes and impersonating each other for spoof TikTok videos.

Those videos now live on on social media as painful reminders of the young women.

The police department has been slammed for quickly ruling out the gruesome skinning and killing of another dog three weeks earlier as a potential clue in the murder investigation.

In that case, mini Australian Shepherd Buddie was skinned and slaughtered after being let outside.

A source tells RadarOnline that assessment is a ‘rush to judgement’.

‘I can understand the local cops don’t want to spread fear amongst a local community already on edge, especially considering no suspect, no motive or no murder weapon have been identified, but to convincingly rule it (the dog killing) out seems a very interesting and somewhat rash decision.

‘It’s been long established that individuals who have the capability of killing four people in this manner start their killings on animals. Dahmer. Bundy. Berkowitz.

‘This is a red flag, and it shows murderous traits.

‘These are serial killer tendencies.

‘Police owe it to the community to explain how they can unequivocally dispel a link between these two instances,’ the person – who is close to the investigation but was not named – told the outlet.

Kaylee shared her dog with ex-boyfriend Jack DuCouer.

Her family is adamant that he had nothing to do with the killings, and released a statement to say as much earlier this week.

The Moscow Police Department is refusing to reveal whether they believe the killer was someone who knew the girls and had been in the house before, or if it was a stranger who had been watching them.

Their house could be easily observed from the surrounding properties.
