Australians may have been divided in their voting choices on election night, but there was one issue everyone could agree on: Julie Bishop’s fabulous new hairdo.

Ms Bishop, who is remembered as one of Australia’s most stylish former politicians, returned to the spotlight looking very different on Saturday night as she co-hosted Channel Nine’s election coverage.

Gone was the 65-year-old’s trademark pixie cut, replaced by a head of long blonde hair slicked back behind her ears in a dramatic side part.
